Greetings, I am new to the chastity lifestyle. I want to get a cock cage as an outward demonstration of my submission to my Mistress. Because all this is new to me, I would like some advice about the choice of cock cage. I have tried a couple of designs off the shelf, but found that they did not fit. I appear to have an unusually large circumference requirement for the ring that goes behind the cock and balls. The solution would appear to be to have something made, so I am looking at the products of Mature Metal. I need a design that is compact (cannot be seen underneath clothing) and does not rattle about (the security screw is an attractive option to eliminate a padlock rattling about) during vigorous activity, such as martial arts training (outside of the relationship with Mistress, this former soldier is very much an alpha male). I wish that I needed a long and large cock cage, but I not need much space to accommodate Mr Floppy. :-( So, in summary, I need something that is compact, can be made to fit, can disappear from sight when worn underneath clothes and does not clank about. Something that could be worn during fairly aggressive ball beatings would also be nice. Final requirement, it has to be steel. Mistress has had unhappy experiences with hygiene problems among her pets who have tried plastic devices. I am giving consideration to designs called the Jail Bird, the Queen's Keep and the Pet Trap. Not sure about getting ball beatings in a cage and I think the general opinion is not to do martial arts or similar wearing a cage unless you are happy to loose your boy bits. If you do get struck in that area normally your bits can move out of the way. Caged they cant and thus the damage could be severe from even a glancing blow. The off-the-shelf designs had 5cm (2 inch) rings. One was solid, the other was hinged. I could not get even one ball through the solid ring. With a lot of stretching, squeezing and a pinch that drew blood I was able to get the hinged ring closed, but within a couple of hours it became apparent that I was headed for gangrene. I have ordered the set of sizing rings from Mature Metal. It would have made sense to do that from the outset, but I had no idea that we males differed so much in that area.
The one advantage of the CB6000 series is the ability to try different sizes before ordering a steel cage. They are not as comfortable normally because of the design of he base ring but it will definitely help if narrowing down exactly what you need. Depending on your length when soft, you might even go for the CB6000s (2 1/2" length) instead of the CB6000 (3 1/4" length). You want to fill the cage to the end when soft and not have a lot of empty space. I am not real crazy about the hinged type base rings on some of the ones you can order on the internet but that is just my opinion. Ordering the sizing rings from MM is a great idea and will definitely help in getting your sizes right. Depending on the starting size you go with on the base ring you will probably drop 1 to 2 sizes before leveling out so do not be too quick to order a steel cage. Wishing you the best and when you get it right it should fit like a glove and become a part of you. Personally I feel a little naked without mine and readily put it back on after being let out for a breather.

I found if I put my balls through first and then lube my cock and slide it under the ring and through it works great. Also works in reverse if I need to get back out for some reason. A lot more comfortable than trying to pop a ball out one at a time first. Ouch. Can be rather painful at times. Otherwise I have been able to get the smallest ring possible on ( was a little too small for wearing at nighttime) without a whole lot of discomfort.
I had a similar issue - my cock was too fat for the CB or Holy Trainer devices. I did better with some cheap Chinese steel devices, then went for a MM Jail Bird, which has been perfect!. The MM sizing rings are a must.

Good point about martial arts and cock cages, but I am not worried. I have never been kicked in the crotch during training. It is all about reaction time and judging distance. When we compete in tournaments, we all have to wear cups. I have never been kicked in the crotch during a tournament, either. Veterans division begins at 35 in most organisations. Apparently at age 35 one is considered to be an old man. :-(

Definitely remove a cage for martial arts. For judo you take out even the smallest piercing for safety; both yours and your opponents. And if you think that vet age of 35 is bad you should try rowing; I realised this week I could qualify for vet because I turn 27 this year.
