Whilst keeping aforementioned firm upper labia, I suggest (I'd say humbly, but I'm an American and why pretend) working for reform. Our government spies on us and does horrible things on our name, but at least we can cry First Amendment. Good luck, I really hope that freedom of speech becomes a higher priority than the Mommy State. With respect.
I thought this was interesting too. It's draconian. The trouble is, we would rather just find a way around the problem of censorship than to oppose or challenge it. 'Female Ejaculation' on the banned list- I'm going to stick my neck out here and guess that it was a bunch of pasty, patriarchal, sheltered men in suits who pushed this through?
yeah we have had a negative right to free speech in england for too long. and yeah lure and order it probably was, its ridiculous.
You worry far too much we have been round this one every few years but you can still find naughty movies on the net lol . The laws are often so badly draughted that they never end up in court. Lots of this stuff is generated buy the people who want to keep the profits up on producing porn . There was huge profits in dvd sold in sex shops which went by the board when the free online stuff became available and they have been trying to reverse that. Xx Wendy
lol well it happened.. looks ok.. but the idea was probably better than the execution https://news.vice.com/article/prote...-a-massive-face-sitting?utm_source=vicenewsfb
You probably had to be there to appreciate it It did make the Daily Politics Show on BBC2 at lunchtime today Interesting to see what all the photographers seemed interested in https://assets-news.vice.com/images...tions-body-image-1418411272.jpg?resize=1000:*
We Americans may be boorish and wear fanny packs and shorts in the Louvre, but we never had anything like the Spanner case, either (for you young'uns, that was when the House of Lords ruled in 1994 that you could be prosecuted for assault for engaging in consensual sadomasochism). I always quote that old Tom Wolfe line that fascism is always descending in America, but it only lands in Europe. It'll be interesting to watch how gay marriage fares over there. And, as a lawyer, I do think a written constitution matters. I lived in England for a while and almost choked on my coffee one morning when I opened the Daily Telegraph and saw a headline reading, "Blair Government Suspends Double Jeopardy Rule" (that's the rule in the US Constitution that you can't be charged with the same crime twice). (Quietly stops waving his flag and shuts up.)
