I've been locked with my piercing laced around the device for nearly 3 weeks now, with both the key and the tools to remove the piercing locked away out of my control. I politely asked to be released tonight because I had some concerns about my piercing and wanted to boil the device and do a saline soak on the piercing, so my KH was kind enough to release me. Then she locked the key and tools away again without any sort of suggestion that maybe I spend the night out, or any hemming and hawing. I put the tools in the box, handed her the combination lock, and she just set it, locked it, and slid it back. I like that she is willing to take the control over my release and take the time to maintain that. It's nice.
