I don't know why my-steel makes such a claim regarding V2A (304 grade) steel, 316L (L as in low carbon) should be the best allergywise. Obviously 304L steel is cheaper than 316L. Commonly 304 is referred as "stainless steel" and 316 as "acidproof steel". Surely there are other steelgrades. Ultimately chastity belts should be made out of titanium!
