my jailbird is 4 weeks into build time and I'm hoping it will arrive for Christmas.

I'm looking for a combination key safe for my wife,

But I wonder if the screw will fit in?

I want it small so it will stay in her bedside drawer where I know where it is but it'll be impossible for me to get to it.

What a tease that is in itself!!!!!

Can someone tell me the dimensions of the screw, and what do you use ?

    Any help would be awesome.

I measured my security screw key at 35 mm length with 8 mm diameter. The screw itself 12 mm length with 6 mm and 3 mm diameter. (measurements are approximate)

Thanks @brook the sissy, that's great. What does your KH use to keep her keys safe from you?

I personally don't have a KH yet myself, but I do however own a MasterLock Model No. 5400D keysafe for use with Emlalock's website. Additional number dials will increase your security, because it takes a lot longer to guess the combination. MasterLock has a few different models, but what I like about mine is that you can attach and lock the keysafe itself onto something and have it secured in a location either more out in the open and obvious or more out of the way and inconvenient. These types of keysafes in general are somewhat vulnerable to being decoded with a metal shim, so finding a good location to secure the keysafe itself could serve as a further deterrent or even more fun. It's like having your safe securely bolted down to the floor.

You will also need it to be the right thread. I recall that on an earlier thread here (no pun intended) MM said it was 8-32.
