Private communication ideas between KH and me?

    I've just been locked up now for 15 days, my first time in a device.

    My wife and I would like to be able to communicate online privately (as much as that's even possible), and was wondering if there were some good ideas out there as to how to do that. Right now she's using a Google doc to leave me assignments, but there's no notification of new edits to either of us. We prefer not to us email since our house still has kids in it and often times email screens are left open or our kids are using our phones when an alert pops up.

    Ideas? Tried and true methods?

    You could look to setup a private Google Group for you two, you can email to them to add messages (tasks?) but set them to not send notifications to your email account, or do it once a day etc.

    Might be able to make it work.

    There are phone applications for shared "to-do" lists. You might want to try https://couple.me/

    The biggest complaint reviewers have had with this product is that the notifications just say the the shared list has been updated. That would seem to be a benefit in your situations.

    It's end to end encryption and you have to be invited. So just the two of you provided you set a good password on your phone or use separate cheap phones with strong passwords if the kids do use your phone's.

    My Wife and I have a secret Tumblr. It's dead easy and a brilliant way to communicate. It was recommended by @keephimcaged (who is going to think I am stalking her if I keep going on about her ideas!) and it has worked amazingly well. The idea was to share tumblr posts that turned us on but it works equally well to leave messages.

    One of you sets up the tumblr and makes it password protected. You then send an email invitation to the other person. That way only you two can see it. My Wife is really beginning to understand what she can do to have fun with my chastity through this. I cannot recommend it enough.

    That I'm not sure about. To be honest it has just become part of my daily routine, as much as checking up on the happenings in facebookland. I shall have a look at the settings tomorrow.

    I don't entirely trust WhatsApp given it's owned by Facebook. There's an app called Telegram that's widely thought to be as secure as it gets on most phones.

    Well, Telegram is okay-ish. It has a private chat mode (which you should use here!) and probably set a self-destruct timer such that read messages get pruned eventually. Signal seems more trust-worthy. WhatsApp now has in principle the same security as Signal; WhatsApp is rather quick to upload the decrypted chats into Google Drive. So that is probably not what you want.

    I'd say Signal or Telegram Private Chat.
