    I’ve had the round and oval. The oval are defiantly much more comfortable.

    The hardest measurement to get right is the gap.

    I wear the round cuff ring. Others have the oval and double cuff rings. Not sure about the double ring myself.

    The advice I got from Mistress MM was with your cuff ring is on can you slip a one finger between the steel ring and your body. If it's hard to do the ring might be too tight. Too easy and well you get it. It will feel tight at first until your body adjusts to it's new restraint. You will adjust so don't make it too loose or the darn thing will slip off!

    Next is the cage. Measure yourself soft with your cuff ring on. Remember the gap between the cage and cuff ring is also part of the measurement. Not sure how strict you or your keyholder wants to be about you becoming erect but go from there. If you measure soft at say 4.5" maybe your cage needs to be a little smaller to keep you in check. I'm a grower so for me the smaller the better. Keep this in mind, if you end up with a cage too long where you get to stretch out too much, William at MM can cut it down for you. My wife has sent mine back to have it cut down shorter. I had just a little too much cage. Not any more :)

    Oval, for sure. I tried both the double and single rings. It's likely to be different for everyone but the single ring ended up being the most comfortable long-term.

    I would say after wearing the double oval base ring for the past year, it is far more comfortable than the single oval ring I have worn for 2 years prior. It tend to keep the cage tighter to the body and not as much slipping down.

    If I order one, do you have any advice on which measurements I should take the most attention? Are there things that are important that aren't clear to a lot of people?

    The only measurement that can’t be easily altered by MM after manufacture is the cage diameter. Make sure you get that right. You want contact all around with the cage when flaccid.

    I agree with @boisub. I ordered my diameter too large and the length too long. Mistress MM told me that the diameter could not be changed.

    MM suggests the double ring only for those with a really long sac for the testes. The double ring helps take up the slack and hold everything tight.
