Your keyholder should have the final say on the type of chastity device you buy although you may have some input (in more ways than one, LOL).

If you have not worn a device before, it probably pays to start with a CBxxxx device - probably a CB6000 or 6000s depending on your flaccid size, for the following reasons:

1. Very adjustable - you are most likely to find a fit - loads of threads here to tell you how, but basically comfortable base ring and smallest spacer that doesn't pinch or cause burning.
2. If you have not worn a device before, then sizing changes over the first few weeks as everything down below stretches and loosens up. If you go straight for a custom trapped ball style, then there will be problems finding the right size, and then after a few weeks it will be too loose.
3. When the size has settled down, and is comfortable to wear for a few days with no adjustment, you can look at a custom steel device. Masture Metal on this site makes very good ones, but best is to do a lot of looking and choose together with your KH. Lots of advice here on site too.

Pros and cons - the CBxxxx range are inexpensive, and do the job, but look rather utilitarian and not particularly "sexy" or pretty from the KH's point of view, plus they require daily attention to keep hygienic (penis trapped in a plastic tube). The choice of a custom device depends on how you and your KH bring chastity into your life - i.e is inescapability key, or looks or long term wearability or all of these and more.

If you already have a solid relationship, then there are all sorts of benefits.......

[font="'Comic Sans MS"]I think your KH should choose the device you start with. I think it's good to get something basic to start with just so you both get to grips with all the nuances of chastity. Also if your KH chooses the device she will have more of a sense of owning your cock. Once you have experimented and are ready for full chastity go for a metal device which won't break and a custom fit is always best. Also at first you are unsure about sizing so it's good to try something just to see how it fits and the problems with fitting as everyone is different, there is no one size fits all.
