I've got a little question. The lock that comes with the CB6000S, a 'master' lock. Can you take a bath with it? I know you can take a shower, I've done that many times before and no problem, just blowdry it after showering. But in a bath the water can get into the lock even more, so I wonder if that's safe to do. Thank you.
i have and so far never had a problem with it. you can always give it a little squirt of water displacement oil(wd40) if you are worried
If you're in long term lockup I definitely recommend regular use of either a WD 40 kind of thing or graphite. If you don't when the magic release cummie time comes, you'll be dissapointed.
I've worn my lock for months on end, showering every day in it and swimming frequently in my pool and have never used WD40. I have never had a problem with the lock rusting or not working. Having said that, a shot a WD40 will always help keeping things in good order
Agreed. My lock is about 2 years old. I shower, bathe, swim and even SCUBA dive with it. I've had no issues with it. Just do as the others have said and oil it occsionally.
