Is urethral chastity supposed to cause a sharp pain?

I got this cage but I've tried cages with longer plastic/silicone (or whatever its made out of) urethral pieces and they always cause a sharp pain. This new one only hurts at the bottom tip of the urethral insert though.

Is this normal? I used lube so if its not normal what can I do?

No. It's not normal. If it hurts, and there are no sharp edges, it's most likely too deep or too wide.

    Pain is not normal.

Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong.
    Don't ignore it.

Yeah, no. That sound goes in pretty damn far. Anyone who wears this risks physical injury and infucktion. Any indwelling catheter or sound is a path for bacteria to enter.

Hi guys I always wanted to know if these devices were meant to be used for long term ware because I have read here before that they are only any good for a short amount of time.

I've worn an inverted cage with a steel urethral tube for around 40 days, but it was only achievable with daily unlocking for hygiene.

I stopped using it but it's only a 2.78" insert on a negative cage. It's the one I linked in the OP.
I want a steel insert for my negative cage I can wear 24/7 because peeing in this type is a bit hard to accomplish otherwise. Any idea where I can get one?

The 2.31" one was too short and when I got cold I retracted off of it so I guess I need one that's around 2.5"-2.6". If I get one this size what grit sandpaper would I use to smooth it down? I'm only interested in steel since the silicone ones are too long.

Why not just cut the tube down to a smaller length?

Having worn a cage for many, many years i would never wear anything that goes inside my penis, years since my cuckoldress bought me a ribbed rod that slid 5 inches down my erection it felt nice, but then i got a painful urine infection, dispite sterilizing it before hand. That resulted in a course of tablets and a referal for medical procedures, scans etc as men dont normally get urinine infections. i darent admit i had half an idea why.
