Belt or strap solution

You can get proper belts/straps from eBay or Etsy, or there is a gimmick called the buckleless belt you can use. Also you can get a proper base ring from cherry keeper with the loops on for a belt.

 

I use a rawhide lace or a nice long fat boot lace and tie it on with slip knots. Works better because it's more adjustable and is two bucks.

 

I’m currently looking for a high quality and durable single strap. Waterproof would also be nice. The amazon and Etsy ones the snaps pop loose when I have the strap tight for work and such. No luck so far.

 

I use the strap from a compact camera case. It has two swivel clips on either end that I attach to the pins on my steel cobra cage. It has a sliding adjuster to loosen or tighten the fit. It's also waterproof and fairly tough. I found the elastic ones to be utterly useless.

 

We use a metal chain identical to the one used in the old style choker dog collars as it provides excellent support, waterproof, & adds an extra level of security to the inverted flat cage.
