CellMate - any reviews?

I had a couple of them - the first one broke (in !) and wouldn’t unlock.. had to break it off.

the second (the Cellmate 2) had a constant electrical discharge that ended up leaving burns that took months to heal.

I really don’t recommend this device in any way - it’s awful.

 

I invested in the cellmate some time ago and the app was so bad as well as the reliability of the hardware itself, it proved to be a bad investment for me. I think others have gotten along with it but I read more reviews reflecting disappointment more than happiness!
I've since invested in the Masterlock Bluetooth safe which - once you've gotten used to an app designed for remote access to property keys - works very well indeed. My keyholder is distant too and is very satisfied with this solution.

I don’t think that has remote unlock - right ?

 

My mistake. Question: Does it have to be remote unlock of the actual device? Can it be allowable control of a key for a certain period of time? Would tamper evident locks or tags work? Is there another way around it or do you require remote lock and unlock on the device itself?

 

Cellmate makes a network controlled lock box that seems to work, per reviews. Skip their cages, use the box to make your key unavailable unless you wish otherwise.

 

Had one worked very well apart from the website getting hacked and thought I was stuck in it but easily to pull out and very baulky

The Cellmate or Qiui 2 is my fav cage, its so comfortable, the remote shocking is fun. However they are not in the least bit waterproof despite what they say, even being careful in the shower water gets in, corrodes the electronics and they die, I have been through 3 of them now, I would only recommend it if you plan on short term wear with no hint of water going anywhere near it!

 

We have the cellmate 2.0 and I don't dislike it but I do have some complaints. 1) it is very bulky, depending on what he is wearing it can be quite noticeable "depending if you consider that bad" 2) The remote function is buggy, it works but sometimes you have to reconnect a time or 2 which sort of kills long distance play. 3) My husband is not well endowed and so sometimes his penis doesn't touch the contacts for the shock to work.

But overall I don't regret getting one, it is fun to have in the collection.

There is a lot of bad press about the Cellmate and its app. I hd one of their other devices and things were so bad I dumped it on ebay.

Biggest drawback I see to the Cellmate is that there are only a couple of size options, and there are millions of cock & ball sizes. In my opinion, a good fit is the most important factor.

That said, there are any number of Bluetooth locks and lockboxes, and combination locks and safes, that can be set up to safely secure the keys. There are ways of providing a secured key that can be used in an emergency that will clearly show that the key has been tampered with.

My Mistress and I have ben using this method for a couple of years now, without any problems.

 

Yeah I had the smaller one but even then it was still a bit too big for an average grower, they need a smaller option. Ring wise it was very comfortable as you lock it in for the ball gap that works for you.

Im hoping they do a V3 some time with less bulk, a small option and better water proofing.
