For me, I'm a 90's Metalhead but I do like old school rap also from the 90's and early 2000's. Occasionally, I like to listen to dance remixes. If I'm looking to relax, I'll listen to some smooth jazz, particularly saxophone jazz because it sounds erotic. I'll admit, I'm not the brightest when it comes to remembering band/performer names... Back in the day, I just cruised through stations until I found something that sounded good and just kept listening to it. What about you all, what do you like to listen to? Please share.
Yeah, I'm not big on modern rap... It ain't as good as the old stuff when it actually meant something. Today it's just easy money crap. But I tend to listen more to loud music with all instruments and no lyrics, Particularly Metal and Remixes.
As you say, something loud goes down really well. Love going to see live music, not really big bands, but more the grass roots and upper coming bands.
"Red Dirt". It's a type of country, that's a blend between country and rock. Prevalent in Texas and Oklahoma. The music is fun, gritty, emotional, bluesy, rocky, folky.
