did i get the deal of a century(even if its HOPEFULLY a display item?)

found this on ebay for 25 dollars and well, its clearly got a interesting history due to size and a missing lock but almost
positive this is a neosteel belt based on the locking style. am the only one *REALLY* hoping this is a salesman sample....hint, the waist is easily figured roughly by x 3.14....i got this mainly as i seen the snap lock in the back and that ALONE is likely worth what i paid for it. Id love to know the story of this or mabe i don't....whats kinda odd about this one is that the seller also has a chinese bra and belt thats about 32" to 36 inch waist and unless im using that chinese calculator that makes 1+1=3 this is much smaller.

 

was thinking when i seen the snap lock in the back of adapting some of my belts to use that, i don't even know if this thing has a person that could fit into it honestly being that small and if so, is ie ethical to.

 

i have no way id fit this, but if i can get the parts i want off it off...i well recoverred my 25 dollar investment on it. i did want to adapt a chinese belt to a better lock than the trailer hitch style and if im correct on this, the snap lock piece is intact. the shiipping from germany is more than i paid for this to order parts to do so. still crazy that
it got listed as it was....it was listed under the headings typical for 100 dollar chinese ones.

 

im quite aware of its size, but was after whatever hardware i can get out of it since well, have you seen the price of just shipping stuff from germany? look on the snap lock on back of it, thats 50 bucks right there
keep in mind i was looking for a a way to better secure a chinese belt wuth the giant trailer hitch lock, and if i can get the snap lock to work, i got what i wanted from it. kinda shocked they didn't research it more.

 

yes maid julie that is what i believe its for too. i don't know how much of it i will be able to to use for adapting chinese belts(which do fit me) , but it would be interesting to know this things history. the secondary shield and snap lock i already got a belt in mind for as for the cost i paid for this i couldn't get the parts i wanted!(i would of spent more SHIPPPING them) not so sure i want to spend 75 dollars on a padlock though to reuse that aspect. kinda thinking of seeing if i can order the access denied set for that much....im STILL ahead and got a neat story to boot

their is literally no chance this thing was ever meant to be worn or someone would be super tiny. . waist size is 24 inches but the center to butt is 19 inches. i might of scored though for parts since the lockling in the front was also a snap lock and guess whats on the back....a snap lock . can't say it was a bad use of 25 bucks....even if its a "really" thing.

 

phase I of the rebuild done. the waistband is off the prize. looks like im going to have to get out the welder and extend the back but oddly the two holes are close enough, not that i really want to find out how effective the rear is without the cover plate. the front to back of that is 20" or so. i expect the front to need it too. likely a few inches but im trying to advoid if i can since that will show a lot more.

 

i got a neosteel waistband on order for this and some similar grade stainless steel coming(15 bucks) l that should let me make 90% neosteel belt. i will have to adapt a chinese tube to this for now but i've never had much a problem with this as far as escape goes, most of this is going to be the journey anyways Never thought id get geniune hardware to play with to speak....
is 400ish dollars a bad deal overall for what i got so far? i recall these come up used every so often but none are no where near my waist size anyways which is pretty big, that outfit makes me look huger because its a pleated dress and has 120 inches of fabric as a dress bottom. i am not a fashion model.
