    Just a quick summary, mostly for my own administration:

    My wife has a lover and is monogamous with him. I am in chastity intermittently, with periods of self abstinence from masturbation.

    My wife will meet her lover next week. I try to refrain from masturbation until at least then. Being in chastity helps me with that.

    I'd wish to be in chastity 24/7, but I find it difficult to sleep with a device on, so I'm only wearing it during the day for now. Of course, night time is when the urge to masturbate is the greatest, so being able to wear a device through the night would be very nice.

    She's had a lover for over three years now. The first three months she had sex with me as well, but found that confusing. Also, he has a larger penis and lasts longer, so having sex with me was always a bit of a disappointment after being with her lover.

    So, she informed me we wouldn't be having sex anymore and she would be monogamous with lover. We had sex only one time after that, when she was on a bit of a break with her lover.

    The issue I have with sleeping is that it starts to pinch after about half an hour. I sleep on my side, so the ring slides down a bit and the skin at the bottom of my scrotum starts bunching up.

    Nothing serious, and I can ignore that kind of pain during the day time, but it is enough to keep me from falling asleep. Any help would be appreciated :D

    Yesterday (Wednesday) I wore the Nano only for half a day, because I didn't have an opportunity to put it on before going to the office. When I came home I put on the Nano with the 40mm ring. Normally I wear the 45mm ring, I can wear the smaller ring, but it is less comfortable as it digs into the skin more.

    Today (Thursday) I decided to wear my old CB6000s with the 40mm ring, just as an experiment. But I'm already not liking it, so I might switch back to the Nano!

    Took the CB off and the Nano (45mm) back on. Such a shame the CB is many people's first entry into the world of chastity, as there are better options.

    Try a tighter cock ring, and use coconut oil to lube, hair is also a nuisance, that night time discomfort will become a welcome feeling to your commitment to your key holder , that just my findings. 24/7 should be your goal. Also the stainless steel smooth rings with lube should feel comfortable tight but not too tight.

    Thanks. I'm thinking about moving to a steel device. Not sure which one yet. The waiting time for some of the bespoke models is loooong...

    Wore the Nano again yesterday, but I am really starting to feel the scrotum skin stretching. It's getting sore and sensitive. I really want to wear chastity for at least another two days (when my wife has a meeting with her lover). Maybe a smaller ring might actually be more comfortable as counter-intuitive as that sounds? I guess I'll just have to try it out...

    You don't want it to be too tight and cut off circulation. Assuming you have a cheap Chinese knock-off Nano, have you smoothed out all the edges? I used to wear one of these and it did require a lot of sanding/smoothing work, especially on the docking station.

    You might also want to try some sort of lube around the ring.

    Ring size, cage length and diameter and gap size are all important, and all carry the same caveat, you can never tell if smaller or bigger is really better until you try it, and as you say, it's often counter-intuitive.

    The problem is, if you change one dimension, then any of the others might need adjusting to compensate. Ie, reducing the ring size without changing the cage or post length will increase the gap.

    I have an original HolyTrainer, and as far as I can determine, it doesn't need any sanding. I do use lube and gel, but that doesn't help (much) against the pinching.

    I actually ended up wearing the Nub in combination with the 45 mm ring. The Nub is actually very comfortable to wear.

    Yes, it really is a matter of trial and error. The Nub seems to go well with the 45mm ring. When I wear the Nano the 45mm is fine, but I could go a little smaller for the base ring. I think this is because the Nub pushes stuff inwards, requiring a little bit more room.

    Yeah, the original HT models should be smooth. I also found the Nub comfortable and also settled on the 45mm ring. My only problem with the HT models is that you can't really clean yourself in them, so I could never really hand over the keys as I needed to remove it once a day for cleaning. That's why I switched to a more open bar design metal cage. Also, once I made that change, I realized that the rings on the HT models are so thick! The metal rings are so much thinner and therefore easier to put on. I don't know if you'd get less pinching by going metal?

    I actually ordered an open metal cage just today! It was quite cheap, so I don't have high expectations, but maybe I'm pleasantly surprised. And it will give some experience with metal.

    It's a long story... She has a lover for three years now. This is with somebody she met through work years ago. He's more than just a fuck buddy, more of a soul mate. She has been open about his feelings for him from the beginning, and its all good. It is something that I agree with it. It gives me deep and satisfying feeling of compersion when he is with her.
