What to do with unused cages

Interesting. I'd be more likely to toss in recycle or trash bins. Ever taken time to sit some where and watch for people's reactions? See if they notice it? Or more? That would be only reason i'd leave one out it public.

I've sold a few here, for more than just shipping. There's definitely an aftermarket for used cages!

 

Cost of shipping would be a good way to find a style and size that works for you or find parts that you need. I have a ring that works for me but the pins on the cage are spaced differently

 

You know those bridges, fences and gates that get covered with locks. Those are called Love Locks. Seems like a good final resting place for an old cage.

You're leaving a personal sex toy out in public for people to see. That's already bordering on non-con. It's not much different than leaving out a used dildo.

And it's in public for anyone to see. I certainly wouldn't want my grandchildren to pick one up on an outing then bring it to me, asking what this weird thing was.

Then there's the issue of disposal. Some poor SOB janitor or park maintenance worker will have to toss that out if he runs across it.

I seriously doubt that a woman seeing a cage on top of a mailbox or something, would recognize it and then decide to use it on her husband. More than likely she would think that whoever would leave a used sex toy out in a "very public place" is disgusting or inconsiderate, and would not want her husband to be associated with that kind of weirdness.

 

Weld them into a sculpture and donate it to the local public library. If you have the creative incline, make it into a fountain.

My 2 cents....find some extremely tiny/exotic birds you would like to keep as pets and reuse them! Don't ask me where to find the tiny newspapers for the bottom of the cage,though!

The idea made me chuckle, but I agree with Tom Allen. Made me think, if you had a playroom or don't have kids around you could display them in a shadow box, hung neatly in chronological order. Especially if you live with your keyholder, it could be a very visual reminder of who owns the cock. You could even pull one out and use it for a special date night or anniversary.

My .02 - In a polite society, each person needs to be aware of the others who may not share such beliefs or views. Taken to the extreme, we’d all most likely agree putting such a device in a Childs environment is akin to abusing social norms and beyond normal boundaries. Placing old devices in public where children could come across it is dangerous and disrespectful. Might I suggest if doing so is exciting to the depositor, maybe they should put in in a bar restroom, table or corner. That way only adults will have access to it.

Would you think it's appropriate to put a used butt plug on a bar table? Somebody - a patron or a worker - will have to handle that into a trash bin.

I'm always so conscious of exposing non consenting members of the public to my kink, like they should all, automatically, be OK with that. It's my biggest reason to shun 'public' exposure. I think it's very inconsiderate.

I used to think about this but in an era where it is finE for people to blow vap in my face, swear like a sailor around kids, wear racist t-shirts and smoke weed as they walk down the high street I start to think that me advertising some fun, without getting my dick out is the least of the worlds worries.

 

I've often thought there's an opportunity to "do good" with our ex-cages. I remember @L-u-c-y pondering raising money for charity through our lifestyle interests at one point. It raises the idea of a charitable service if someone wanted to take it on. It could even be an extension of the "For Sale" section here where people want to sell old devices and donate the money to a site-nominated charity instead of receiving the money themselves.
