My family is planning on taking a trip to Disney this winter, and my plan was to purchase a holy trainer to wear during my flight and time in the park, due to the metal detectors. I currently wear an all stainless steel device with brass integrated lock. The detectors would light up like a Christmas tree. I also heard that the detectors at Disney will pick up the tiny integrated lock in a holy trainer. So I looked around the internet and found a plastic integrated lock: https://m.dhgate.com/product/doctor-mona-lisa-plastic-concealed-lock-for/411487808.html#pd-018 Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
I can confirm that is true. They picked up my regular brass lock (found that out the hard way), and so I carried one of these little integrated locks in with me in my pocket to see if the metal detectors would pick them up the next time I went. They did. I assume it would also hit on it if it was inside the plastic of the cage as well. I've not used the lock you've pointed to, but if it fits in and actually works, that seems like it would be a decent solution.
I've been through Disney's metal detectors many times in an HTv2. Its never set it off. Same with Universal. Same with baseball stadiums, hockey arenas, etc. The brass is too small to be detectable.
I can also verify that an HT V3 is not detected at airport security. I have been both through the metal detectors and airport scanners wearing my chastity device and have always been cleared. My wife and I are realizing that the HT is not the proper chastity device for long term wear but I think they should definatly be kept for travel.
I tried one of those locks and sometimes it work but most of the time it didnt. The key itself would twist while the lock didnt. Was afraid it would twist off. It might work for your needs but I dont trust it to function like a brass one.
When that happens all you do is put a squirt of 3 in 1 oil or WD40 inside of the lock and it works everytime.
I can report today I went through at Epcot in my contender and it didn’t set it off. I was going to remove in the bathroom before security but they were closed. Heart was racing but no beeps.
I’ll be switching to my vice for the duration of my time at Disneyworld at Christmas, I’ll be using plastic locks
I freaked when I entered an arena last night and saw the detectors! No issues wearing a Chinese metal cage as it turned out.
