So in my general browsings, I happened to come across Custom Chastity which claims to make a few different cages custom-made from your choice of material, from plastic all the way up to platinum... Has anyone ever heard of them? They claim to be able to make the devices either in America or Australia, but everything I found seems to indicate that they all ship from the USA (prices are in USD, talk about international shipping, etc.). Not to mention that their blog posts haven't been updated since March...
I like the interchangability of these but I think they would be too expensive for me, living in the uk
For those people on FetLife, I've worked out that the site owner is MsLadyFox and seems to be active there, even if not blogging on the site.
@maid_carrie I guessed that one of them would be on FL, but there's no actual contact info on their site (there's an email address on their Facebook page though). I ended up searching for "LadyFox" on FetLife and checked every profile until I found one that said she ran that site ;-)
I joined their site. There does not seem to be that much info on their yet and their forum has not really generated much interest. I was trying to determine whether or not they made a steel version of their seemingly palstic fmj (full metal jacket) mm? Of course what do they mean by custom .. is it just size or alterations possible. How would they utilise a pa. to enhance security? I'll leave it while and see what transpires.
I assume they print in wax then cast in metal . How do they polish the inside ? That could be a serious issue not something I would like to do especially in er smaller sizes absolutely a bitch of a job . Had a laugh at the price of the silver ones $1200 !!silver is only £9 an ounce and a lot easier to cast than stainless steel . Though I note they put bronze with their stainless steel presumably to lower the melting temperature. Sort of conferms my view they are lost wax casting . Xx Wendy
Hi Sorry for not blogging as much as I wish or you want. This is a new business and a big learning curve but will take on board that you are looking more from me. I will step up.
Hi Our products are made all over the world for example the Titanium item is made in Germany, Non Metal - Surgical Nylon is made in Australia as they are the world leaders. We choose the best of the best manufactures in the world that do not discriminate us on the products that we make - trust me there are a lot of discrimination manufactures. As for our products in US$ as we pay our staff, manufactures and suppliers in US$ so it keeps it simple - I am not an accountant I am a designer so keeping it simple.
Yes Wendy The raw material is part of the cost but there is major amount of cost of production is labor - as we do not mass produce or made in Third world country - we pay real wages. Even our non-metal Surgical Nylon devices are hand sanded and dyed. The metals are wax cast until I can find a better method. I am looking for a better stainless steel caster - if you know one - message me.
@Lady Fox Hi so a good guess then xx So have you actually made the titanium ones wow not easy I bet . So if they can get to melt titanium can they not do your stainless. Cool would be to anodise the titanium very easy to do so but would look awesome . Xx Wendy
The titanium manufacture is in Germany and specialises in this and other high end metals. Our current stainless steel manufacture is in the USA but we are looking for a new company that meets our QA standards on a more regular basis. As it is a big pain in the butt telling your customer that they have to wait longer because of stuff ups.
