I am new here, but, I wanted to post this to help others. I started with chastity (8 mo ago) with the CB series. The curve and CB6K. I enjoyed the devices and I learned what worked for me and my KH. However, we wanted to step things up. We both craved complete control over my cock. So, we decided to look into custom steel. Long story short, Mature Metal was the way to go. I ordered the sizing rings (I recommend this to everyone) and measured over a period of 3 weeks. I took 1/2 in off my smallest measurement and chose the diameter that easily fit over my glans. The A-ring was easy in that I took the one finger test and followed that. 6 weeks to the day of the order I received my work of art. My JB is beautiful. It really is a wedding ring for my cock. The first 3 days: I experienced some soreness under my scrotum. However, I ordered a series of rings. 1 3/4 single, 1 5/8 single, 1 5/8 double... all oval. The single rings seemed to bite more than the CB-x rings so I switched to the double. After two days of gradually increasing my wear time, I was able to be pain free. I am now into a week of wear and I am happy with no discomfort. I know this is short for some, but I intend this to be an ongoing review for a couple months while I get the fit just right. This is to help others as I had many questions with the sizing rings and length/diameter measurements. Lastly, Mistress MatureMetal and their customer service is award deserving! I have nothing but praise with how they handled my questions and even changed my order mid way through. I highly recommend Mature Metal. I will be posting my fitting journey over the next few months to help others with questions about the fitting process.

at insured tongue.. So, new development. The double ring was a bit too aggressive! I switched to the the single 1 5/8. Much improvement. I can sleep and work in it day to day. However, I still have the sore spot on my sac. May need to increase the gap.. maybe not... time will tell! Thanks for asking

If you are new to wearing a device, you may need to frequently take it off to allow your body time to adjust. It can takes weeks for some people of on-again, off-again usage to get accustomed. And use plenty of lube to keep chafing to a minimum.
I'm on the verge of ordering a jailbird but have one concern. I own a CB 2000 and 6000 now, and I I am increasingly pulling out my penis and edging. I'd like a device that prevents me from doing so. Is the jailbird more difficult to cheat then the CBs?

So.. Update!... I got the gap adjusted, and now all is well. MM had my JB back within a weeks time flat. I've slowly been building up to full time wear. I have found that the single ring is the moist comfortable. After getting the gap adjusted, I have been blown away by how easy it is to go multiple days whiteout release! My wife/KH took note of this and has been keen on keeping me on lockdown for weeks. I am thrilled with the build up, but, my JB is relentless! Again, I cannot give enough thanks to MM and their customer service! I was fortunate to get the cage dimensions correct as well as the base ring. This made my experience so nice. My KH now is looking towards getting a PT! I will keep you updated. Wish me Luck. One last thanks to M MM. They are awesome.
Yes, my JB stays tight to my body. After about 6-9 hrs or so it does loosen up a bit, but, after my shower it tightens back up. I often need a little silicon lube after my shower to keep it from bitting me too much. As for pull out, I can pull out during my shower. However, I do not wish to do that. I love being caged! I tried to pull out a couple hrs after my shower and it was very uncomfortable to say the least. I will say that compared to my CB-X cages, my JB is far more secure. But, I am the type that believes staying secure and caged has a lot to do with what goes on between the ears.

My Locked Boy was able to pull out of his MM Jailbird extremely easily. It is fitted properly, but his boys hang super low. We had to modify the KSD anti pullout device to fit the Jailbird to prevent pullout.
Naka... I ordered both the double and single ring with my JB. I have found that the double ring is most intolerable when i am high and tight in the AM. However, in the PM, I am loose and the single ring is far more comfortable. I also ordered my cage .5in less than may flaccid state. This allowed me to fit both the double and single ring. As far as the diameter is concerned.. I picked the ring that slipped over my glans easily... not my shaft. My glans is far more important!! This turned out to be the right decision. I'm high and tight so my Jail Bird stays in place. But I guess I could pull out but don't want to. Wish I had an answer for you. But he is lucky to have you.
I love mine too, my online KH has control over it with Her lock. 2 months into an open contract , I don't have an emergency key !
Breadbox, So, if I understand correctly, the ring could slide around your glans but not around your shaft? I'm taking my measurements for an order (JB too) and I have issues with measuring the cage's diameter. The smallest ring can go around the glans but it it is too small for the shaft. It won't go all the way to the end... Mistress MM told me that "the ring should just indent the skin on the smallest part of the shaft." but I didn't understand. I am not a native speaker. I looked the words up in the dictionnary but I still can't understand the meaning of this sentence.
