We're looking into my first "real" device for long-term use. I've been wanting to try the Lori tube or similar, with a PA (which I'll get if we can settle on a device). We're leaning towards the tube-only types, because A, I'd like to get away from the chafing I've always felt from the ball-ring style, and B, I'm on HRT, probably for life, and testicular atrophy is likely in my future. Can anyone offer any advice on which models to look at?
I have a #5 and a 8A. I like it and it needs to be a bit tight. I would suggest tight underwear to support the weight. their stuff is heavy and well made. Since I have 2 and there are very similar I have the 5 on sale here. To be honest I think I prefer ring device though. as I said they can be a bit heavy..
I have a Lori 5B. The tube does need to be snug enough to stay on by itself. You cannot depend on the PA to support the device, as the weight will cause your PA to stretch and to migrate the hole. The PA is only there to keep you from removing the device. I got a series of rubber O-rings in various diameters, the same diameters that Ms. Lori makes her tubes in. This is an easy and cheap way to figure out what diameter is needed. But check out this bad boy. Made by one of our own, constructed of titanium, very lightweight, and much better and more reliable security. The Lori security screws are 1) fairly easily defeated, and 2) fairly easy to strip. It's a nerve wracking combination. The device itself is very pleasant and comfortable to wear. And I do like the weight, but, your PA will stretch. Maybe if you went for an apadravya or an RPA, then the weight and the fit would not be so much of a concern. Those are much more stable piercings.
Thanks Frank. I actually came around to Ti's work myself, for all the reasons you said, and will be ordering one of his new 550's as soon as I'm healed enough to get final sizing.
Excellent choice! Of course now we are expecting pics and a review when you are all set with your new device
