not sure if this should go here, but can't find a better place to ask...

Has anyone ever considered, or become aware of, any implications for wearing chastity while e.g. Driving, or at work? Add in, would your insurance refuse to cover you in the event of a crash if you were wearing chastity ("distraction") or would there be an insurance issue for working? I imagine it would only come to light in the event that you were taken to hospital unconscious, but I wonder if an insurance company would refuse to pay a claim, saying it distracted you from driving, etc.

It'd be incumbent upon the insurance company to prove it distracted you if you challenged it. I'm not even sure how that would be possible. They don't penalize people for wearing genital jewelry, so I'm not sure why they would for this sort of thing.

Besides, I drive all the time while locked and it doesn't "distract" me in the least.

What would be their argument? That you're such a degenerate pervert that despite wearing a device intended to prevent pleasuring ones self that you're always focused on your penis to the point of distraction? Insurance companies are soulless and shameless and even they'd have a hard time making that claim.

I don't even know how they'd find out. That kind of thing wouldn't be noted on any medical form and it would probably be a violation of HIPAA (or your equivalent if you don't live in the U.S.) for them to see it even if it were.

HIPAA, by default, allows your own insurance company access to your medical records, just as an FYI. There'd be no violation there.

I'm pretty sure that applies solely your medical insurance, not other forms of insurance.

I should have been more clear. If your auto insurance company is paying any portion for your medical expenses, then they will have access to your medial records (otherwise, how are they going to know what they're paying for?). You specifically given them that authorization when you sign your policy (and therefore there is no HIPAA violation). In most cases, medical insurance is not going to pay anything until you exhaust any medical coverage you have on your auto policy. If you don't have any, then the medial insurance will cover it and your auto insurance provider will not have access to your records without your permission. They can, however, request access, and if you refuse, they can deny your claim if they believe some kind of medical issue contributed to your accident.

they'd have to be a bunch of penny-pinching, money-grabbing, devious, unscrupulous bastards to try to do that.

    Oh wait...

Well I believe the insurance company (be it car or work) would have to prove the causality between the accident and your device, and that looks difficult to me.
That they can have access to your medical records (of the accident only!) seems logic even under GDPR (EU) or HIPAA (US) regulations.
I don't think we have a risk here.

I find it very hard to believe that you wouldn’t have insurance because you have something on your genitals. I’ve been locked and driving for years and haven’t been the slightest bit distracted because of my cage. Yes you get the occasional pinch but they are easily and quickly corrected.

If your distracted by your cage what about, children, music or other people in the car. Wearing a cage is like wearing a shirt or pants, it’s part of your clothing. Maybe we should all drive nude?
