My apologies as I'm sure this has been asked. Wife/kh is offering to get me a new semi expensive cage for holidays. I actually have a fair amount of input kinda nice lol. One I really like is a screw not a key. I get out weekly give or take, how much of a pain is the screw to remove vs a key in a padlock? Thanks.
Not a pain. I like the screw because it doesn't move around and make noise (for the padlock type locks) and don't have sharp edges (for the barrel type locks). I learned that the screw can loosen over time (especially if you are teased with a Hitachi wand). Teflon tape used for plumbing on the screw threads prevent that from happening.
Depends on your dynamic. My favourite device currently is a screw lock device. I typically put myself in chastity, it is my choice. My partner doesn't have a huge interest in chastity but also doesn't mind me wearing it and know I use it to feel submissive to them (It also align with their desire to control all my orgasms). The lock and key is fun because you both have a piece of the experience, it is more of a shared experience in many ways. I however hate the aesthetics look of the lock and key, it looks too bulky in my mind. Also, part of the key aspect is that your partner may show it off to others. For the screw I bought some extra Allen keys and one that goes onto your key chain for emergencies
Ya Think? Hahaha Seriously kids ! Don't try it!!! It can't be undone without power tools and a good excuse why your junk is in a cage. And saying "There I was minding my own business when all of a sudden I tripped. And when I got up this thing was stuck on me!!" Won't work no matter how sincere you are.
That is no counterargument for screws as you can make them a shared experience as well. Especially as many manufracteurs offer some sort of pendant as "key" for the screws. If you are looking for somethinng even more special you can find online companies who will create you unique screws from titanium with her first letter as the screws head (instead of a more common security screw stylus). Going wurher you can look for a goldsmith to make a relly good looking pendant as a key and not only a cylinder.
Old school here. I have had padlocks for 10+ years. For us, (me especially) seeing my padlock reminds me of what I am. We also have a numbered security tag at the end of my stem to prevent the cage from being removed without breaking her tag. No way to get past her tag. I'm proud to wear her security tag. I'm not let out as much as you, so maybe a screw might be the trick?
Anyone who puts loctite on their cage lock kinda deserves it lol. I work in a machine shop so I'm getting out regardless, just might involve an awkward conversation with a coworker asking for help
Padlocks: Rattle and are relatively bulky. Barrel locks/magic lockers: Allows a more compact design. Has a key that can't be bought in a hardware store though lock quality can be variable. Security Screw: Cheap, Allows a very compact design. Typically secured with a pinned torx key which can be bought in hardware stores/Ebay, but a secure solution if you don't have one to hand. Custom keyed screw. As above without being able to get replacement keys.
