I thought about the fact that most people take it normally when a woman hits a man. Well, people will be surprised and pay attention, but in general no one will reprimand her. I remember my girlfriend hit me in the face quite loudly a couple of times and all I could do was lower my eyes and apologize.
Don't you think that this is evolutionarily conditioned?

No, it's socially conditioned. We tell boys all the time to not hit girls.

I know personally that when anyone gets physical with me, particularly something like a slap in the face, red mist will descend.

I think that's the innate reaction.

There was a viral video recently of a "sub" guy in the car with a professional domme. She slaps him one too many times and he loses it.

That said, it's probably going to vary person to person. Whatever you fight/flight/freeze response happens to be.

I remember my (ex)wife lost it while I was driving in some slow in traffic over something trivial, started beating the shit out of my arm....it hurt but not too badly then she threatened to hit me in the face and I said calmly "you probably don't want to do that", implying I would defend myself.

She didn't...she got out the car and made her own way home....my arm was black and blue for weeks but I never told anyone...The thing is I know she couldn't really do much damage, i think that's built into us genetically as well. If I lost it with her Id knock her out with one hit....never have I hit a woman and never will.

Then my current partner took to my bum with a stick once in Ikea, that was just funny, still hurt but women turned to look and just giggled and my face went red....but then that is part of our dynamic. She knows she is permitted to use a paddle or a stick or any implement of her choosing to take to my bum....its jut not usually in public lol.

There is no call for such actions, if you act like a lady, I am more than happy to treated you as such. I started treating my wife as a queen in another century.

With that said, if a woman squares up and swings at me, no quarter will be given. Equal rights will be given along with equal lefts, until the threat is over.. Actions do have consequences..
