I recently bought a chastity strap for my cage as a fun accessory, but I've had 2 problems with it as of late...

Even though it's very comfortable and I can wear it all day if I want, if I try to wear it overnight then it makes my skin itch under the elastic. Ok, so that means I have to take the cage shaft off every time I wanna put it on, because it's impossible to put it on with the whole cage locked in place. That's quite inconvenient by itself. The other far bigger problem I have with it is every time I put it on I get a serious erection and when I put the shaft back on, it pushes me over the edge and gives me an unwanted orgasm. That defeats the whole purpose of putting it on in the first place. :(

I've yet to try it with my larger plastic cages... But what are your thoughts on this situation?

It pulls your ring closer to your body and holds the cage firmly in place with no play at all.

I don't actually need it. I've been in my current cage for over a month without any problems, only minor annoyances. I did have it on a couple times and it felt great, but again it made me cum in my cage from the arousal of having it on. That's what frustrates me (not the good kind). I guess I'm just too horny and too physically sensitive.

Well... I only paid 8 bucks for it. Could've been alot worse.

My thoughts are that you cant waste money if it's spent in the pursuit of chastity.
So long as you have learned from it.
There are versions of support straps that you can put on and take off without removing your base ring.
Some require a simple bend around the ring back to a popper stud for example.

Well, I only took the cage shaft off. I didn't take the base ring off... A little different there. When I did a search for "chastity support strap" I only got more of the same results. Any suggestions on searches?

As a general rule if you have to ask did I waste my money... then for you in asking ther question you already know the answer is in all probablity a resounding yes

we llive and learn.. and even with the best advice sometimes we just have to see for ourselves and quite often in terms of 'hardware' or should i say hardwear it costs money to finf out

better luck next time

I've had a change of heart this morning... I went to bed last night without my cage on and it made a HUGE difference for the better. I slept 10 hours without waking up once and I feel like a million bucks now! :D

With my head finally clear, I did some thinking and I decided that long term isn't for me after all... I tried it and it literally drove me insane and that goes against my reason for getting into chastity in the first place, which was to just stop myself from jerking off while trying to do something productive at my PC. If going into long term means driving myself crazy to the point of where I can't think of anything besides how badly I wanna cum, that sounds more self-destructive than productive to me.

So for now, I'm gonna revert back to only locking myself up when I'm at home and not sleeping at night, because at my PC is really the only place I would jerk off anyway, so all those other times and places are not necessary. Maybe some day I'll revisit long term chastity, but it's not worth the burden to me for now.

Well, my Cage of Shame is best because it allows me to pee while standing up. That was the deal maker for that cage. I actually have some difficulty peeing while sitting down unless I'm REALLY full. Other cages don't allow it, besides my CB-6000S, but that allows a partial erection which was really painful at night.

I tried something a little different with the strap on my cage and it worked... I went to bed last night again with the cage off and got a decent night's rest again. :+1: And following my morning routine, I put my cage on, but I also put the strap on the ring before putting the cage shaft on and I didn't blow my load this time. :+1:

I think the difference is this morning when I first got up, I was still in a haze and not aroused by anything... Where as those other times, I tried to put the strap on while I was already aroused and excited. So, I'm gonna try this a few more times and see how it works out. :pray:

Yes, I'm easily aroused and I'm physically sensitive. I been like that for as long as I can remember.

I just swapped out my Cage of Shame for my Vice Mini V2 and put the strap on that (carefully, because I was slightly aroused) and I think it's even better... My steel cage has a gap in front and the strap pulls back to the point of where my cock head pokes out the front and that causes a little physical stimulation against my briefs. The Vice is a total enclosure cage so there's no physical stimulation what so ever. Plus, the anti-pullout with the Vice further restricts any erection as well as ensuring the cage is not coming off without the key.

I'm pulling on the cage with the strap and anti-pullout both in place and it's totally solid. Snug but not tight and not budging at all. :+1:

That plus, seeing a heavy plastic coated padlock on my cock also turns me on. :D

This is very interesting... The plastic ring on my Vice cage did a little chaffing with the strap on so I swapped it out for my steel Keyholder's Prize cage. I originally used the KH Prize cage but the unrounded steel ring was heavy and caused some chaffing after a few days, which is why I bought the Cage of Shame in the first place.

But the KH Prize cage seems to work much better with the strap on the ring. My Cage of Shame has a gap out in front which allows my cock head to poke through during arousal. My KH Prize cage doesn't have that gap so no poking through and no unused space inside the cage because the strap pulls the ring back and holds it in place. And since I'm not going to wear any cage to work or at night when I sleep, I don't have to worry about something happening after a few days, because my "package" will be able to air out and fix itself.

I'm thinking the strap works best with my Keyholder's Prize cage and the other 3 cages I have are best used by themselves.

Now I know for certain I made the right choice to stop going to bed locked up… I was just invited by a high ranking company official to attend a company meeting, concerning my store’s direction and overall performance.

A good night’s rest and a clear mind are an absolute must now.
