My wife got into fake nails; acrylic, held on with glue. Her own nails would split and I think they just make her feel a bit more glam. Thing was, she couldn't do some of the things that she would routinely do without one or two of them flying off.
The bottle opener allows her to grip cans and lids without the danger of the nails coming off.
The nails stay on longer. Happy wife...
