I'm so annoyed with all the cages out there. I just want something that's 1. comfortable 2. hygienic 3. secure. Haven't found it yet. I think my skin is very sensitive and needs lots of airflow.

Early cages I used (e.g. Holytrainer, CB6000, CC Ghost, generic Chinese metal cages) failed in all three categories. But mainly, they caused my skin to be irritated because it's always damp in there no matter what I tried.

Then I splashed out on a custom Evotion Orion. It was quite secure (tamper-proof when pulling out) but again had the skin issues and had to stop wearing it.

Then, a Male Chastity Now Contender. Custom version with glans ring for better security. This device gave me the least problems with the skin as it was very open, but its openness meant you could so easily cheat the device, even with a glans ring you could access every part, pull out and pull it back it, or even rub yourself through the bars with very little restriction. Basically, if it's THAT easy to cheat, then I have to just control myself anyway, so what's the point?

Finally, a Badassworkroom device. I got a piercing at first, but neither the wife nor me liked it (she hated it) so I removed it again and went for the version with the glans ring. At first I thought this was *it*. It was indeed uncheatable. If you pull out you can't get it back in through the glans ring. Great security for a cage without piercing. But, alas, there were more bars and less gaps than in the Contender, it was all a bit squashed and damp and even if I tried my best to keep it clean and dry it just didn't really work. In the end both me and the wife ended up with a fungal infection! I'm really disappointed but not sure if I can go back to wearing this device.

For now I am going on the honour system. I also signed up for the waiting list for "The Grip", a shaftless cage with glans ring. I don't really mind the ring around the balls (can sleep without issues and without pain) but I just need that airflow around the base of the shaft which all balltrap cages seem to lack. But I'm a bit pessimistic and thinking that there will be just another issue with the "Grip" even if early reviews seem to be positive. Probably it will smell bad because it's made of plastic, or the glans ring will be too irritating or something like that.

Also I'm really jealous of all you guys whose penis doesn't have super-sensitive skin.

Something I've wanted to try is thermoplastic. As an example you can search on Amazon for Thermoplastic or Moldable Plastic. Medical grade, which would probably be more appropriate is something called Orfit. Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Orfit-Easy-Form-Splinting-Heat-Activated-Thermoplastic/dp/B07C3THJHW. This stuff is designed to be used as casts. It comes in a tape or sheets. You heat it up, then wrap what you want to immobilize. You get it off by reheating it but ordinary body heat won't melt it. It'd be cheaper than a custom cage although it wouldn't be reuseable. It probably is a little it expensive for single use but as a simipermanent chastity device, $80 would be pretty reasonable. I did an AI search for orfit and chastity devices. AI says it's unconventional, no known examples of someone doing it, but that it would likely work.

Orfit is skin-safe, lightweight, and breathable (often perforated for air circulation), which aligns with some requirements for long-term chastity devices. It can be heated and molded to fit a specific body part, potentially creating a custom-fit device.

I had an epiphany some time ago. I realized that if my wife was willing to be my KH and all that entails with teasing and managing my orgasms the least I could do would be not to pull out and masterbate. It is tough sometimes though. Especially when she actually goes into the office and I am unsupervised.

So much of this is mental and symbolic at the same time. I could probably get myself to climax by rubbing it through my jb but I don't because I want her to control it.

I always try to clean as thoroughly as possible in the shower, and dry to my best ability, but I'm just getting a damp skin later in the day and with the BAWR there large parts at the bottom which have almost no holes or access to really reach it well.

But maybe I should just go with a less secure but more hygienic device as a compromise.

If you figure something out, please share. I'm kind of in the same boat. Even if I am clean and dry and fresh out of the shower by the evening there will be some dampness there and some smell. After a couple of days (2), no matter how clean I keep things, I really need to remove the device and do a good cleaning and airing out. I've used everything from a
CB6000s - nope, too enclosed
Mature Metal - easiest to clean, but I still needed to remove it every couple of days for that area under the penis where it touches the testicles
Kink 3d - I like the smoothness rather than the round bars of the MM, but still need to remove to clean
Behind Barz - love this belt (it's a belt and does need to come off for cleaning) but sometimes a full-belt is just not practical.

I was a big fan of Mature Metal, then Red Chili, until I bought a BAWR BA-21 Titanium cage. The cage is very open and I have no problems keeping it clean and dry. There is an added level of comfort with the lightness of the titanium. Best cage I have ever owned!

I had tried a genuine Kink3D cage when I developed a skin reaction to the nickel in the stainless steel cages. Sorry, that cage is difficult to keep clean, and the width of the resin bars makes it way less open than the BAWR cage.

I feel your pain. I'm in a very similar place but without the difficult cleaning and preventing infection. I'm zeroing in on a custom design if i can find someone to make it.

Did you get the BA-25? Or something similar with the glans ring? How large is the pee opening in the tip? I have an Upgrade Micro Cobra cage and the opening in the tip is 3/8" x 7/8"; it's too large; a finger tip can get inside and stimulate me to orgasm.

I'm also wondering if it would be compatible with a Ternence anti-slip ring; it looks like it might but depends on the size and distance apart the pins are that go into the base ring.

Yes, the BA-25 with glans ring. The pee opening is relatively small, don't think I can put a finger through. In terms of security, it's as good as it gets without piercing or tetherspout.
