Is it normal for the base ring to slide down?

I finally got a custom resin cage that I can wear without significant discomfort, although I still have a lot of uncertainty about the size.

I managed to get a ring on that just barely fit around one nut at a time. I never thought I’d be able to squeeze in but I finally made it. However, the ring slides down to my balls, and leaves a big lump of skin behind it, like another set of balls. Is this normal? I don’t see any way I could change it. No possible way I could fit a smaller ring.

It will slide down if the gap between the ring and cage is too large, both measurements are important.
Have a look at the custom cage makers sites for advice on measuring.

I don’t understand. BAWR doesn’t ask for this measurement and I don’t see how it would prevent the ring from moving toward the tip of my penis anyway. The only thing I can imagine that might help would be to strap it to my legs. There’s nothing actually holding the ring back and there’s a lot of loose skin to slide through the ring.

What does high and tight mean? I looked it up and saw both a military haircut and a circumcision method. I am not circumcised.

I don’t think that describes me. I think my balls are kinda big and saggy. Maybe I’ll try wearing a thong. Although to be honest the biggest thing that probably made it slip was masturbation.

They make straps cheaply available on amazon. Mine occasionally slips some. Just readjust I'm fine for most of rest of day.

Done. I got a cute pink one teehee. I have trouble adjusting unless I take the cage off. Maybe it takes practice but it’s hard for me to really pull the skin with the cage on.

I guess everyone is a bit different. For me it took a while to get the recipe for fitting the ring right. One ball first. Then the second ball. Finally the shaft. The right ring size is likely one larger than the absolute smallest you can fit into.

It's normal for some slide down if you let it. That is why longer cages are a bit better as you won't be able to pull out if there is more cock in the cage still.

Tighter ring, lighter cage and reduced ball gap will help minimize this, he only requires a few minimal measurements when you order however you can provide him any extra ones you want such as cage gap, ball gap etc and he will accommodate. Also you get a strap included with his metal cage orders :+1:

I have found slippage is usually minimal or non existent with plastic cages so if you are getting slippage with the test cage you will get a lot more when its made of titanium or SS due to the extra weight

Looking at the pic I would say your cage gap and ball gap are both too big.

Perhaps you could contact the manufacturer for advice.

I suppose sharing you picture would help them (literally) visualize the product in use and suggest how to fine tune it to better fit you specifically. Kinda like going back to the tailor for a final fitting of a suit.

Also: welcome to the Mansion! I've found it to be an exceptional resource and hope you will too.

Test for correct ring size, can you slide a finger under it to the second knuckle, but not too easily. In theory then, the right ring size shouldn’t slide down. In terms of the advice on fitting on the BAW website, it’s the best I’ve seen by any custom device maker. His explanation on what he calls the diagonal gap (referred to above by another respondent) is great, this is the dimension that makes sure the balls can’t slide through the gal between the base ring and cage.
