Padlock or integrated lock? Which do you prefer and why?

I like the look of the Intergrated lock don't know were to find one in the US and will it work with the jailbird from M&M But padlock not bad

It has to be integrated as far as I am concerned and it's great that a standard priced product is offering that.
 
Mistress and I, both, really enjoy the physical act of applying the lock and Her clicking it shut and then giving me a tug to emphasize Her control.
 
Integrated is neater, but for some devices, including some very good ones like MM, it's not an option. Though security screws are.
 
It's got to be integrated for me as I do not like the knocking from the padlock and it sticks out somewhat.
 
I'm indifferent but my mistress likes the padlock because it's more fun to look at and it snaps when it closes which gives her a thrill.
 
integrated lock is definitely the best choice. Nevertheless, I do not recommend Holytrainer. I cannot understand why so many people like it
 
I prefer integrated because of the lower profile and sleek look. I do however love the "click" of a pad lock.
 
The possibility for the integrated lock on something like a steelworxx to corrode and get stuck certainly adds to the apprehension level. That's the one pro for a separate lock.
 
I've used multiple steelworxxs devices and never had the lock freeze up after months of use, though I guess that could be a possibility. If its worry some you could always use some antiseize on the locking mechanism after cleaning.
 
I've seen posts on fetlife from folks who had some temporary issues with some of them. Luckily they got it sorted without the need for power tools lol

I'm locked in a MM Jail Bird with the screw lock rather than a padlock. Like it a lot even tho it can be a pain in the butt getting lined up correctly. But then, the Device does not come off very often.
