This is a review of the new chastity device from Headzone Defense The Grip. It is a tube only device that does not require any piercing, yes you read that right no piercing.

First a little about me, I live a full time FLR with my amazing wife and am in chastity full time as close to 24/7 as possible. We have been using chastity for about seven years and full time fro the last five. I have used several devices started with CB6000 then HTv4 short and finally ended with the Evotion Wearables Bijou secured with a frenum. So I have worn a variety of cages both with and without a ring.

So I have been in the Grip for several weeks and first impression AMAZING!. It really y is secure, ultra comfortable, light and looks good

Now for the details - it is 3D printed specifically to the users measurements from ABS plastic available in several colors. The measuring is really important and their website has very good detailed instructions. Additionally they are really good at paying attention to the measurements to ensure tolerances and comparability. When I did my measurements and sent them in they reached out to me about the ring size and tube size compatibility we discussed it and made adjustments before printing. To me this type of customer service is stand out and amazing these days.

The device consists of the tube, glans ring, retaining hook and end cap. The tube is exactly that a tube that covers the shaft and length and diameter is up to the customer durning measuring. The glans ring is where the magic happens. It is a Simi ridged ring that has sort of wings on it that once to is in the tube with the end cap it will not come off hence keeping the device on. The hook secures the ring into the tube and the end cap sort of seals it all together. The end cap has just the right amount of space to allow for urination and even standing!

My device arrived with two extra glans rings of different sizes for fine adjustment, again amazing thought be these guys. Nothing sucks more than getting something like this and it being slightly off and having to contact the seller and wait for a replacement.

This thing is unbelievably comfortable it is light and low profile. When moving around with out clothes it is very unobtrusive and almost unnoticeable weight wise. Completely unnoticeable when wearing underwear and clothes. Initially I was wearing it for three days at a time and then checking for abrasions, wea, cleaning etc. I then started wearing it for a week at a time with zero issues, it is easy to clean in the shower. We have now settled into our routine of wearing the device for seven to ten days and then removed for deep cleaning. Now that time frame is our thing Wifey insists on deep cleaning and health inspections. For the sake of the review I have currently had it on for twenty five days and have had zero issues.

As far as security we both tried to get it off even fully soaped up in the shower. It held firm - now I suppose if you pull hard enough you could get it off but not without significant pain and most likely injury so just take my word for it.

When we first started chastity I always had issues with discomfort from the rings behind the testicles but was super reluctant to getting a piercing to be able to use a tube only device. When we finally did it was life changing. Now this is your opportunity to have a life changing device without a piercing.

Bottom line this is now my goto daily wear device, The Wife loves it, it is comfortable, secure and looks great. Feel free to ask me questions or if I missed something we would love to share our experience.

Any issues with edema or marks from the ring? Does the ring make it difficult to urinate or does it change your stream? Also, does the lock on the bottom push the devices forward into your pants and make it super visible?
 
I personally have not had any issues with edema or abrasion from the ring. I does not restrict ruin flow and don't think it changes the stream characteristics. The lock location does not seem make it protrude I think because there is no ring the shaft can move freely .

I'm guessing that how well these fit will be to some extent based on the penis shape. Those that have small heads probably won't work that well.

Also, what is it like when you get an erection? Doesn't the base swell below the shaft cage?

I can see how this could be pretty secure if sized correctly. I would love to try one of these but not having a very chunky head when flaccid and being uncut im not sure it would work for me. Although 20mm was pretty good for me on my CK headlock and these go down to 16mm so could possibly work but its a lot of money if it doesnt work out

I don't think that is as important as it seems. I think a common misconception is that this device uses the glans corona to stay on. It only uses the corona to start the process. The actual locking action is quickly transitioned to the shaft. The glans is very weak and IMO really will never be able to keep a device on.

I have had mixed reviews with uncut users. It appears to work for abdou 90% of circumcised users, but uncircumcised is closer to 50/50.

Until recently, we'd found that a reasonably small and snug cage seemed to stifle his erections, which is what we both want. Recently though, unless we go even smaller and more snug, when h gets excited he gets an uncomfortable 'backed-up' erection behind the cage and largely inside him, which causes the whole thing to pull awy from his body. We could just use the smaller cage, but then I came across your post. May I ask, what does this grippy thing feel like when the owner gets aroused. Obviously the tip can't expand, so I can see that it would be impossible to have sex and it would probably prevent you from coming. But does the rest of the shaft expand, or does it force you to stay limp? We're looking for the latter. Sorry to be so graphic! Sal

When aroused, It basically just feels like there is something gripping onto your shaft. There is a bit of compression, but no pain. I would say most find it comforting. Like all shaft only devices, this does not prevent erections. You will still get hard and you shaft will be erect. The difference is that the section under the cage never reaches full erection and all the sensitive/sexually gratifying parts are completely covered by the device itself.

This seems to be an interesting option to be safely locked up without piercing. Want to order one and am on the waiting list. Anyone have any experiences?

Thanks for the response. It seems like a good system to me, although I do wonder how you can get the tube around the shaft without lubricant because the glans is wider than the shaft. I am also curious if there are more reactions from users who do not have a foreskin. Do they have any tips to take into account, also when passing on the sizes. At least ordering a small tube I understood.

So for me it can be a little challenging to get the tube and ring on over the head of my penis I just have to work it through and completely flaccid. My tube is a little on the small side by choice because I am mostly flaccid now so it works for me.

The Grip uses a unique system that doesn't rely on the glans to actually take the strain of keeping it on. The glans really only activates the clamping action and that then clamps down on the penis shaft. I have users with many different sizes of glans and they are wearing it without issue. Right now our "success" rate is around 85-88% with circumcised penises. We are closer to 50/50 with uncircumcised.
