Sometimes bad, sometimes just enough to let you know you are wearing a stainless steel cage with a stainless steel ring around your nuts.
I do miss the bondage feeling sometime but this thing is so comfortable and my wife is so much more comfortable with me wearing this one.
She was always worried that my Ternence could cause damage to me.
She doesn’t worry about it with The Grip which is kind of a win win situation.

So if one get the sizing kit to get the proper size, the ending result is nothing short of amazing. No more ball burn and other discomforts. I had this on for the first wear for 12 hours. Took it off to inspect. No issues. The following day i went 24 hours and no issues. Slept like a log too. It isn’t coming off without key without considerable pain but when its on and in place, it is so comfortable that one does not even feel its there. The key is measurement. This is my 8th attempt (various ball trap devices) to find something that works and my wife is really liking it. Customer support is very good and I find that questions are answered. This is a review of the new chastity device from Headzone Defense The Grip. It is a tube only device that does not require any piercing, yes you read that right no piercing.

First a little about me, I live a full time FLR with my amazing wife and am in chastity full time as close to 24/7 as possible. We have been using chastity for about seven years and full time fro the last five. I have used several devices started with CB6000 then HTv4 short and finally ended with the Evotion Wearables Bijou secured with a frenum. So I have worn a variety of cages both with and without a ring.

So I have been in the Grip for several weeks and first impression AMAZING!. It really y is secure, ultra comfortable, light and looks good

Now for the details - it is 3D printed specifically to the users measurements from ABS plastic available in several colors. The measuring is really important and their website has very good detailed instructions. Additionally they are really good at paying attention to the measurements to ensure tolerances and comparability. When I did my measurements and sent them in they reached out to me about the ring size and tube size compatibility we discussed it and made adjustments before printing. To me this type of customer service is stand out and amazing these days.

The device consists of the tube, glans ring, retaining hook and end cap. The tube is exactly that a tube that covers the shaft and length and diameter is up to the customer durning measuring. The glans ring is where the magic happens. It is a Simi ridged ring that has sort of wings on it that once to is in the tube with the end cap it will not come off hence keeping the device on. The hook secures the ring into the tube and the end cap sort of seals it all together. The end cap has just the right amount of space to allow for urination and even standing!

My device arrived with two extra glans rings of different sizes for fine adjustment, again amazing thought be these guys. Nothing sucks more than getting something like this and it being slightly off and having to contact the seller and wait for a replacement.

This thing is unbelievably comfortable it is light and low profile. When moving around with out clothes it is very unobtrusive and almost unnoticeable weight wise. Completely unnoticeable when wearing underwear and clothes. Initially I was wearing it for three days at a time and then checking for abrasions, wea, cleaning etc. I then started wearing it for a week at a time with zero issues, it is easy to clean in the shower. We have now settled into our routine of wearing the device for seven to ten days and then removed for deep cleaning. Now that time frame is our thing Wifey insists on deep cleaning and health inspections. For the sake of the review I have currently had it on for twenty five days and have had zero issues.

As far as security we both tried to get it off even fully soaped up in the shower. It held firm - now I suppose if you pull hard enough you could get it off but not without significant pain and most likely injury so just take my word for it.

When we first started chastity I always had issues with discomfort from the rings behind the testicles but was super reluctant to getting a piercing to be able to use a tube only device. When we finally did it was life changing. Now this is your opportunity to have a life changing device without a piercing.

Bottom line this is now my goto daily wear device, The Wife loves it, it is comfortable, secure and looks great. Feel free to ask me questions or if I missed something we would love to share our experience.

I’ve been trying to increase the length of my locked times and it’s a real challenge because it’s basically impossible for me to wear my cobra at work. Long story. Hoping this Grip can be my new daily driver.

I’ve been trying to increase the length of my locked times and it’s a real challenge because it’s basically impossible for me to wear my cobra at work. Long story. Hoping this Grip can be my new daily driver.

Found that applying some corn starch sure helps aiding in putting it on and getting things into position with minimal initial pinching. Been playing with this for almost two weeks and learned that the next size up v2 organic ring is more comfortable and better for me for longer term than what I originally measured. So far this surpasses my expectations.

I don’t lift weights or run but I do lots of physical activity outdoors and I golf, old guy stuff, but it doesn’t interfere with any of that.

Hated trying to work in the shop and never tried to golf with my ball trap cage, wouldn’t even try it.

It might show a little in shorts just because it is rigid.
From the top side it is not much bigger than your penis and it’s the same shape, only spot that is really any bigger is on the bottom where the lock is.

I am thinking of ordering just the head cap in a solid one.
That would be the only thing I would do differently.

I think it would still be easy enough to clean with it on and the holes on the sides kind of irritate with underwear rubbing on skin.

We do have many uncircumcised users. most pull the foreskin back to put the device on. There are more issues that can go wrong with uncircumcised users, but many can and do wear it.

Hats off to Evri, they delivered early this afternoon. Very snazzy and premium looking packaging and the handwritten note on the receipt is a very nice touch. Came with a little red velvet bag to keep all the bits and pieces in. Colour me impressed, @beheld

Naturally, I couldn’t wait to dive in so Mrs C approved an unlock to do the switcheroo. With the limited amount of research I’d been able to do, I’d opted for the unified geometric rings in wide with frenulum relief and lower wings. I’d paid the extra fifteen dollariedoos to get all the ring sizes available so chose the median option as a starting point.

It was a simple process to get on and a real bonus that at no point during did it feel like any little bit of skin was going to get pinched or trapped when the headpiece and the shaft tube came together.

My god, this thing is comfortable. It’s only been about five hours wear but there has been no pain or need to adjust anything so far. My foreskin is sat behind the glans ring and is looking happy. There’s a bit of pressure on the lower part of the frenulum when erect but it just felt strange as opposed to uncomfortable. Definitely something I could live with during the day, nighttime erections during sleep may be the acid test to see if that might be an issue. And I can cross my legs or squat wearing jeans without feeling like one of my testicles is about to pop!

I showed it to Mrs C, who immediately grabbed it and pulled hard, it did not feel like it was going to come off without causing me considerable discomfort. So it definitely passed muster in her opinion.

First impressions are beyond positive and to anyone sat on the fence I’d join the people in this thread who are already wearing a HZD Grip and highly recommend trying one of these out.

I’ll start building up the wear time to ensure this device works for me and hopefully soon the Burg-Wachter lock that lives in another cage will migrate over and set up home in the Grip.

24 hour update incoming:

I threw no caution to the wind last night and decided to see what sleeping in the Grip was going to be like. We’re in the middle of an intense heatwave in East Anglia so nights haven’t been particularly great anyway. I woke up a couple of times in the night but the Grip was not the guilty party, it remained as comfortable as it had been throughout the day. And my morning wood wasn’t an issue either, no pain to report.

Kept it on during my shower and managed to get everything clean. I think that you could probably get away with it coming off once a week for a thorough deep cleaning of both yourself and the cage.

I’ve now removed it to check how everything is looking and there’s a bit of dye transfer from the cage to my skin but that’s not a problem. I have however discovered an issue… as the foreskin is all behind the glans ring it is sitting up against the filigree and there were a few small spots of ever so slightly oedematous skin. It’s already returning to normal as I’m typing this out but for the uncut man, perhaps sizing up a couple of mm on the tube diameter would be sensible or going for a custom and choosing solid / pattern filled as your shaft tube options. Maybe for a future purchase but no biggie for me at this stage, I might just take it off daily whilst I shower.

The unified geometric glans ring with the lower wings and frenulum relief seems to be working really well and I’m not experiencing any of the discomfort I’ve read about on forums and Reddit. I wonder if some people don’t choose a tight enough ring and there’s movement that might lead to friction and discomfort around the glans and frenulum?

I cannot speak to the foreskin issue. But you are right about the once a week cleaning/inspection. That is the schedule we keep and it works really well. I have gone two a few times when the wife is traveling and still no issue.

I think I saw on Reddit that there may be a fourth ring iteration in the works that allows for some height adjustment within the cage, but don’t quote me on that. And I agree, it’s fantastic that they’re doing their utmost to keep improving the device.

I think I’m also a little taken aback at how good the very first ring I’ve tried feels after the first 24 hours, surely I can’t have got THAT lucky!

How is to urinate? Is the head so close that there is no spraying and hitting the device. Do you stand up?

Great cage for urination. Tip of the penis is lined up and close to the cap so there’s no mess and it’s the best device I’ve ever used for urinating whilst standing. The glans ring I’m trialling is pretty tight so I just give it an extra good shake at the end to make sure there’s not an extra couple of drops of urine trapped in the urethra.

Like Nick said it is the best cage for urination I have had. Because of the ring directly behind the head it stays up against the end cap unlike other tubes whereto penis may have a tendency to back up into the tube when flaccid. So there is never any ruin in the tube most is maybe drip or two on the outside end easy to get with a square to TP. And yes very doable to stand.
