What causes ball burn?

I have a stainless steel cage from kidding zone with a 43mm ring and a 47mm ring. I started out with the 43mm which I could only wear for 1 hour or less usually so I got the 47mm. When I first tried the 47 it was a little too big and caused my balls to painfully slip through anywhere from 1 hour to 1 day later. I bent the alignment pins slightly to make the ball gap smaller and now there's no more ball slippage. My new problem is after wearing the cage for awhile my balls start to burn and I get a red line around my balls where the ring was. My balls never turn color and stay the propper color the entire time. So what the hell does somebody with high tight balls do next?

It's the skin becoming irritated from being taught for an extended period of time. You can try to nudge, pull or otherwise adjust where the ring is laying. Lotion can also help allow for the skin to move easily, as well as imo keep the area fairly trimmed/shaved. It doesn't have to be perfect, just reduce friction.

If you're balls are slipping through, the gap between the cage/tube and the ring is too big. Could you maybe get a 45 mm ring? I've always been hesitant to make modifications to cages, because I don't want to make a problem worse.... That said, depending on how the cage is affixed to the base ring, you could bend that ever so slightly down. This should result in a smaller gap between the cage and the ring.

In my experience ball burn is either the ring is too tight or the ball gap is too small, as people usually have the ring dialled in its often the ball gap causing the issue.

I am 100% clean shaved and I can't get a different ring there isn't one between 43 and 47, Dumb I know. The reason IDK what to do is because the burning suggests the ring is too tight but if I even bend the cage slightly I get ball slip. I'm about to give up entirely on the chastity idea because my anatomy and wallet don't agree with it unfortunately.

It takes time to become accustomed to wearing a device. I use a coat of Vaseline to help reduce the irritation. What you are wearing and how the clothing pulls on your scrotum makes a difference as well.

Give it time and try different things.
