Wire rope security tags

I was wondering if anyone has used this type of security tag through the furniture lock cylinder commonly used on chastity devices? The knock off Chinese made copy of the Burg Wachter me/2 lock is what I am referring to. I would like to find out what diameter cable is needed to fit through one of those locks. Thanks

Measure the hole, order narrower cable seals than that.

A couple device vendors offer wire seals, the price per unit is high, but the minimum order to get a good per unit price is generally huge, so it's kind of a wash unless you were doing a group purchase but then there'd be an additional round of shipping costs.

I'd expect that to fit? Is the hole in the device narrower than 2mm?

Oh, any through-hole devices I have are a straight shot. Maybe pre-bend? They should be cheap enough for an experiment.

I was hoping someone had used them before and could share their experience. I am considering ordering a hzd grip device but would like the added security of the tag since the furniture type lock is so easily opened with a paperclip.

Measure the key width - and that's what will fit down the key hole.
It does appear that most types of wire tag will fit.
I've attached a picture of what appears to be your tag inside such a lock

and there's this video of a different type

I've used them before but most barrel locks are closed off at one end. Is it possible to use them with such barrel locks???

A genuine Burgwachter allows for enough space to slip a 1.8mm diameter steel wire. Many other chastity locks do not, including the ones that are blocked off at the other end.

However, a 300 mm long wire is cumbersome-- and if you cut it to length, it will fray into a nasty collection of sharp wires. I suppose that if you had the right kind of tool, you could cut it absolutely flush with the seal. So far I have not found that tool.

The Roto seals which wind up the wire might take care of that problem.

As for the Grip, vibrations in the lock are transmitted to the glans ring. A swinging seal might tease, or it might irritate.,

Knipex diagonal cutters or end cutters. Finish with a dab of fast cure epoxy.

Your main problem won't be the seal - almost everything should work, but rather your device.

If you look at the picture of an steelworks device, the device itself will block the opening of your keyhole locker and prevent you from using a seal. Thus you would have to modify the device.

i had steelworks Revenge with the same lock as your photo, and i found at the bottom of the lock there was clearance to drill a small hole through the lock to just mark the stainless steel of the cage with out damaging it or interfering with how the key entered the brass assembly. Once that was done removed the brass lock and just drilled the cage.
As a disclaimer i must add i am an engineer so it wasn't a real problem and if any body needs help in this just drop me a message

Never said that drilling a hole or widening the existing gap would be hard - even a Dremel should be enough for the task and most people should be able to do it. However one should be aware that it has to be done especially as doing it in a clean way so it is polished afterwards etc. might be somewhat harder for most.

Especially newbies or people interested in a new device might be best advised to ask the manufracturer to make this small modification so you would not have to deal with it later on.
