I'm trying to decide between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 length. My penis measures between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2, but rarely 1 1/4, most of the time I get just a notch or two below 1 1/2. It's usually just about 1 1/2 standing, but shrinks up when I sit down or bend over. Sooooo I'm just worried that if I get the 1 1/4 that the head of my penis might press through the bars and therefore scrape clothes (some lace panties can hurt!). Should I trust the "get 1/4 size lower" rule or should I get the 1 1/2 to be safe? I really want it to fit PERFECTLY without any extra room, tiny = goal. I'd shrink myself a bit if I could. The best thing you can do is ask the constructor where you will be buying the cage. If it's a metal and/or custom cage, I'm sure the constructor will help you in every way to provide a descent product that fits you well. He or She will have the perfect guidance for your cage size, only if you can provide the proper sizing of your private parts ;-)
I verified my measurements several times in a couple ways. I have a custom made Steelworxx Steel Heart device. I contacted Steelworxx for his advice when I thought I had my measurements. He suggested longer than I had measured. So, I cut a piece of paper at his recommended length and held it to myself. Then I cut my original size before consulting with him. I then cut a few in between. I had at the time a business card with a mm ruler on one edge. I settled on what I thought was right and made my final decision. I placed my order. THEN I saw Harbor Freight had a digital caliper on sale. SO, I bought it and verified my choice a few times against the caliper. I set the caliper to the sizes I sent Steelworxx and then I held it against myself to see if it seemed right. I was nervous because the cost of the device. I was settled enough to not contact him for changes. That is how I got my length figured out. When it arrived it was perfect!
Your device should be a glove like fit to your normal flaccid size, meaning when flaccid you touch the tip and the sides of the cage. The reason we suggest subtracting 1/4" when measuring by hand is because when measuring you will no longer be at your normal flaccid size. The good news is that the length of a cage can be adjusted if needed. The inside diameter of a device can never be adjusted. Thanks M MM
Go shorter. Mature Metal recommendations are 1/2" less than total soft length tip to scrotum underside. Do it. You will grovel properly and love it.
was thinking the cb6000..but choose the 6000s and it is good ... just a bit shorter when soft and keeps erections almost null.

Go short & narrow. My first device was almost double the length and more gridth. You'll be amazed how small you can go. And you will love your new look, and so will your kh.
I have a Jailbird from MM which I wear (along with one other device) 95% of the time and have done so for the past 4 years. My wife and her lover hold the only 2 keys and I may get unlocked once every few months for an hour or so if I am lucky. Mine is 1.75 inches long by 1.25 inches wide. My wife now wishes she had ordered the device at 1.25 inches by 1.0 inches, as I do not fill out the cage when flaccid.I can't imagine the one inch diameter working, but 1.25 inches in length would definitely be all I need.
