    I think masks have spread viruses, people constantly adjust them & then touch other things. Most European countries have strict mask mandates & higher levels of cases than the UK.

    The ammount of times I've seen politicians and celebrities constantly touching them on TV! Wouldn't it be amazing if it's proved the self righteous maskholes were the ones who spread it.

    Sorry, busy day, slow to respond.

    First, the opportunism? Price gouging and greed are factors in all systems, including communists in Russia, China, even Korea, now and then, stories leak out.
    Not sure what to term that, especially when it's legal for government but illegal for us. Capitalism doesn't seem appropriate - it's more a sort of corporatism (socialism) - kickbacks to government for turning blind eye to the behaviors of companies.

    As to the CCP line, those who want ANY flavor of socialism or communism, hiding it behind "democratic socialism" for example, are weak to my way of thinking. someone who wants an "extra social safety net" is LOOKING to create an authoritarian socialized costs system - they may not realize it, but that's their GOAL. Everyone should chip in a little so "widows and orphans" are protected.
    But that's not the role of government. WE are responsible for ourselves. Those who would "delegate" that responsibility, are ABROGATING their responsibility to themselves and those they love and are responsible for. But you hit a critical mass very quickly... Think of how it was in the 1950s, most men could manage family of 4 on a single income, even as blue collar workers. (At least that's the story. Mother, Father, 2 kids, a car in the suburbs, a decent apartment in the city.) But now, with the changes? Two incomes are needed, in many areas. (Or, abstemious budgeting.) And we have The Great Reset coming, OPENLY DISCUSSED, with socialist tendencies in most of the world's economies.
    Your votes in UK DO have an effect on allowing CCP influence to spread, is the point. Socializing the risk AT GUNPOINT is immoral, as well. Those taxes aren't optional. Moving may or may not be an option. But if I leave Boston to avoid the education tax, say, I'll move to somewhere else which - still has education taxes in their scheme. Somehow we had roads, schools, fire brigades, even libraries, before the income tax... Which was supposed to be temporary, and only apply to "the wealthy," but it quickly applied to everyone, because the basic doctrine of "the wealthy" for the common (minded) man is, "anyone who earns more than I do." Marxism is basically a philosophy of "Hate the man who has more than I do." Yet it was dreamed up by a man who lived on the largesse of his wealthy friends, and never worked a day in his life.

    Government social safety nets are immoral because they are ENFORCED, and because they take everything off the top, keep most for their own use (Partly for other, vote-buying, programs; partly to line their own pockets), and they stop people's charity: "I gave at the office." This has been backed up by studies, as well. Taxes increase, charitable giving goes down, even in good times.

    We need to be as stern and disciplined with ourselves are Puritans are depicted... Most of us will fall short. (Guilty, I admit.) Discipline is hard to enforce sometimes. I'm taking a break from work, I need to go back to it shortly. I should be working straight through, but I started at 7:15 today, it's been about 9 months like this, it's gotten a lot old. So I'm overdoing cookies and sweets... Losing the discipline. Not exercising, more discipline failure. Do I expect a social safety net to help me work out? To help me control my sugar intake? Not at all. My issues, my fault, MY OBLIGATION to nut up and take care of MY business.

    This is the Sheeple vs the Wolves, if you will. We should ALWAYS strive to be Wolves. B\e a warrior. Strive for the ideal, Male or Female. Don't be weak and expect the herd, or worse, the pack, to take care of your weakness. I guess I'm too sympathetic to the Law of the Jungle, having grown up in something far too close. I refuse to be weak, to rely on others, to be ruled. By passions, or the "well meaning."

    CCP is "well meaning" there, BTW, but they wouldn't know (or admit) the truth if it bit them in the @$$. They want the control, the power. (Like all who seek to rule, I'd add. Note that those who seek to rule don't much care about your opinion: They don't want PERMISSION to rule, they want your obedience, your obeisance, and the methods are ... Unimportant.

    So never vote to give government more power. It WILL be misused. Maybe not today or tomorrow - but soon enough.

    Kenney is taking this position primarily because the province he represents is highly dependent on oil and gas production (which has been of his own doing - his government has staunchly resisted efforts to diversify into other sectors).

    One of the key pillars of the proposals being put forward as part of the Great Reset is to reduce reliance on oil and gas and invest in green/renewable (nuclear, solar, wind, geothermal etc.) sources of energy.

    I have read various accounts of some very strange things that people are claiming to find in the Clot Shot. Some of the claims ... like 5G graphene based nano-particles ... are way above my pay grade. However, when you consider how reluctant Pfizer and the regulatory agencies are to release the underlying data submitted by Pfizer for the Clot Shot (remember ... it will take 55 years!) it sorta makes you wonder?

    Since it's never discussed in the "news" they will not know about it and still dismiss it as a "conspiracy theory" even when given the proof. Most people do not know of the WEF either.

    Two years ago I happened to share drinks with a local orthopod at the local brewpub. He said unequivocally that this disease was man-made.
