Yup, It'll depend on your location in the world as to the acceptance probably. Was nude at a resort in Spain with no reaction at all even though everyone there was friendly (most European nudists are friendly). In Florida on a nudist beach, everyone was well-spaced and no one blinked.

Swimming in it makes no difference at all, no one is looking at your dick IMHO

I’ll detail my experiences in a second post.

I’ve never been exposed while caged with more then two people at a time. Not publicly nude. Privately nude and caged.

I’ve kept it covered in public situations. Maybe it’s visible through the board shorts.

 

I am always locked when swimming.

Usually I wear shots then, which makes the cage invisible. There is this net inside, which restricts that the contours of your dick show through the cloth.

I once went on the lake to take a swim naked. I had my cage on, which hasnt been a problem. Well qhen I got in to the water. When I wanted to go out there was a woman sitting about 50 m away. She was staring all the time. Even when I was in the water. So I hesitated to get out.
At one point I thought that it really doesnt matter, what she thinks. I even couldnt see her properly. Only that it is a woman.
So I went out of the watwr dried myself wrapped my towel around my waist and sat there for a while.
When I got back into the water she didnt look anymore.
So I think it is okay to be caged and locked outside.
But never in a situation where people could be offended or sexually disturbed somehow.

Same experience for me

 

In Florida at a clothing optional resort last year for a few days lounging by the pool. We even met up with fellow CM member @knight4princess and his wife. In my opinion if you can bring yourself to walk around nude, the cage is not that big of a deal. Turned a few heads, though, even at a "lifestyle" resort (Caliente).

 

As I'm locked most of the time I experienced most of it. We've never been to a nude resort yet.
But swimwear, sunbathing, visiting swiming pools is just like a normal day to me.
We have also been in saunas and spas. I wear towel around my waist and in sauna I position my legs in a way so the cage is not in direct sight. And that's all. I just try not to care too much.

As others have already mentioned, you shouldn't have any problems.

 

The only issue thatay arise is if the locations you're frequenting also happen to have families with children. Ditto if you're openninly flaunting it in a way that forces people to be part of your kink without consent. If that's not the case, and if you live in a country more accepting of nudity in general, it shouldn't be an issue.
