What annoys you

For me the most annoying thing is the days of getting some extra sleep on the weekend is over with. She typically works weekends. That means my ass is up at 5 AM making her coffee and lunch.

 

The bus not coming on time when im waiting at the bus stop and its raining. and i not got my umbrella.

 

It really depends. The same thing that annoys me one day, might be something that I find to be cute about her the next day. All the more reason to stay in that special state of mind where everything about her is perfect

The stuff that tends to annoy me, though:

- criticisms of things that I did (or didn't do), that seem unfair when she or the kids are doing the same (or when she's blaming me for something the kids did)
- the combination of criticisms (warranted or not) when she's simultaneously not appreciating the things I was doing for her -- often those things that kept me from taking care of the other stuff that she's criticizing me for

But when she gets my brain in the right spot, I just respectfully accept any criticism and try to do better. So it's more about my mindset than anything else. And I don't need "fairness"; I know she's stressed with the kids and I just want to make her happy. So I wouldn't change a thing: I just gotta get better about accepting what she says.

 

Potholes. Some roads where I live would be difficult to navigate even for a rally driver on an ATV.

Bags of lettuce that turn to mush 13.6 minutes after you open them.

Leaf rust on onions, garlics, or leeks. You spend so long nurturing the plant to have it ruined in the last month by something that requires chemicals that you can't use since you are 100% organic.

Also, plants bolting.

Having the wrong gloves and the right gloves being 1km (0.6213712 miles, for the middle muricans) away.

Too much rain, followed by too little rain.

Being 4m up a ladder and drop a screw, reaching into the toolbelt and finding none, so now have to leave the impact driver up there, go down, go to the shop, get a screw, climb the ladder, and drop that screw. Super GRRR.

Running out of fuel in the ATV miles (kilometers) from where the fuel is.

Forgetting to put yeast in when making bread and only realising when it hadn't risen at 9pm, ahhhhhh dammit.

Life being so short. I genuinely think that if the Anthropic Prionciple were true then humans would live to be an average of 1,000 years old so we could properly enjoy our brief time on wonderful planet.

 

Mormons. Twitter users. The question, "What kind of music do you listen to?"

The rest of my gripes I'm pretty gosh darn vocal about.

 

Porn femdoms that claim to use chastity but are holding the cage below and threatening to lock you in it.

A certain type of dominatrix cliche where they’re always snarling and fierce.
Stories that start out good but then start going on about smelly feet and farts. Yuk!
Any kind of misogyny, especially from people who claim to be into female domination. Fortunately I haven’t come across that in these forums. Loads of it on Reddit, especially in connection with findom, which is a scene full of men who think it’s humiliating to “submit” to girls they assume are actually their inferiors.
People going on about safety and consent - we all know about that, but it’s a buzzkill to keep bringing it up cos pretending we’re helpless, or temporarily allowing ourselves to be rendered helpless is hot.

 

Oh and pancake mix. Just make pancakes from scratch ffs, it’s pretty damn basic.
Curry sauce rather than curry paste, cos the spice needs to go in at the frying stage. At the other end of the spectrum, people who think they’re superior cos they use whole spices and shun the paste. Fair enough mate, you do you, but I’m happy for the good people at Pataks to save me considerable time and effort.

 

What annoys me is idiots on forums who troll members and deliberately insult them just because they can... It happened to me just today.

 

You fired shots at an obvious troll, first, when you could have ignored him.

 

I didn't fire the first shot, someone else did and I told him to knock it off... It ain't the first time he did that, but he's now ignored. I washed my hands of him today. But the point is it's idiots like him that annoy me, as answer to this thread's question.

That I can attest... The worst part of grocery shopping is waiting in a long line at the checkout, especially when someone brings a full shopping cart into an express lane that clearly says "12 Items Or Less" Like
