Hi, I recently got a PA, and have decided it's time to invest in a custom device. I've decided on a badass device, and I know I want to stretch my piercing before ordering the device. I'm at 3mm right now and have been considering either 6mm or 8mm. Given that they suggest 6mm minimum for a hollow PA hook, does anyone have any thoughts on whether it's worth going for 8mm? Does it make a huge difference? I like ticker jewellery, but 8mm will on obviously take a lot longer to get to
I found the hole diameter in the hollow 6mm hook to be a bit small. It worked OK if I had relatively low pressure when I peed, but if the pressure was too high some of the flow came out around the outside of the PA hook and sprayed in random directions. The 7mm hollow hook had a bit larger diameter hole, which worked well most of the time, but there are still occasions where the pressure is too high for the size of the hole. I will eventually order a new cage with a 8mm hollow PA hook
I'm at an 8mm. It's a comfortable size. You should plan to order several hooks for your device because it does take a long time to stretch.
I would wait until you’re stretched and comfortable on 4mm jewelry. I do not feel one needs a hollow PA. Not in my experience. I am in a MaleChastityNow GlansArmor2 with a 2ga (6.5mm) solid hook. 4mm was the smallest I felt comfortable 6mm is a great size 9mm was the largest I stretched (00ga) Mark at MaleChastityNow made me a 2ga (6.5mm) solid PA hook, and a 0ga (8.3mm) hollow hook. If the tip has a blunt end that’s wide enough, the urine passes over the solid hook, and joins up fine for an even flow without a mess in my GlansArmor2. Jewelry is messier at the urinal than the cage is now, ha! If you’re eager to be secured by your PA, take your time to stretch and heal, but I don’t think you need a 8mm hook just to get a hollow hole. 6mm is enough. 4mm is good. 3mm felt unsafe.
I hadn't considered getting multiple hooks! That's a really good idea. I don't suppose anyone knows roughly what Badass charge?
You make a good point. Hollow 8mm is my aim, but it really will take a long time to get beyond 4mm, so maybe i should just pull the trigger and get a 4mm ordered
Definitely order multiple hooks in different sizes. I ordered 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 7mm. I think each extra hook was about $50.
I ordered mine custom for my apa. The apa bar mounts to the scrotum bar. I order multiple bars to use as I size up. Each additional was $50.
I ordered mine with 3mm and 6mm, currently wearing the 3mm and its very comfy, will start stretching again soon to go up to the 6mm as it is hollow
