I recently upgraded from my fake V4 Holy Trainer to an authentic V5 Holy Trainer and am having difficulties so was hoping to get some advice. I apologise for the lengthy explanation and appreciate any insight and opinions you have to offer. My fake v4 fit like a glove. It was a size small with a 45mm base ring. It felt comfortable from the very first wear meaning I could wear it for hours at a time from the get go. When doing a size check I was able to fit a finger under the base ring as all the size guides say which meant I was good to go in my chastity venture. The only reason I upgraded was to get a more durable one as I found the forks on the base ring kept separating, meaning I had to take it off and heat it back to shape to ensure the cage didn’t get so loose and detach I ordered a small v5 official Holy Trainer with a 45mm base ring to match my fake one. It cost an absolute fortune with postage and import fees to the UK (£63 tax and postage alone, not including the cost of the cage!!!) yet my bitterness disappeared upon opening it and seeing the quality. I tried the new v5 in and it felt slightly different in the same way different clothes feel dissimilar, but nothing odd. It’s also worth mentioning that it went on just as easily as my old device. Sadly the discomfort soon started and I found, after many attempts, it’s uncomfortable after an hour and needs to be removed. The only way to describe the sensation is ‘tight’ as everything is locked in place. Upon inspection whilst wearing I noticed that my testes sit an awful lot tighter, adding to the sensation. I went to slip a finger under the base ring and realised I couldn’t. After removing the device I did a side by side comparison with my fake v4 and the dimensions are identical! I then realised after looking closer that the v5 is angled down more than the fake v4 rendering the base of the cock cage closer to the bottom of the base ring. There is also zero movement in the authentic v5 where there is in the fake v4 My question therefore is what do I do? I spent a lot of money on it and don’t want to give up after a few attempts and am pleased with the increased quality, but I also need to listen to my body. The authentic Holy Trainer cages are too expensive for experimentation, especially with delivery costs, but I feel I need a 50mm we.or 55mm base ring. One thought I have had is to order a fake base ring from China, hope they’re compatible and work out my size that way? -Has anyone else found this sizing difference? -Is my concern, and logic correct? -Is the more angled fit of the authentic Holy Trainer fine, it just needs more getting used to?
Have you compared both rings? if they are the exact size, maybe they are not the culprits. Looking at the pics, I see no separation on the cage portion vs the ring on the V5, and that seems awfully uncomfortable. Meanwhile, in the fake V4 I see a separation between those two pieces. Maybe that's where the problem is. Now, if the V5 ring is smaller than the V4 ring, you have a problem there.
The rings are the same size and the tubes are the same dimensions also On the authentic v5, the cage points downward more which seems to bring bottom parts of each component t closer together. Because of that I am wondering whether an increased ring size would help this issue as hopefully it’ll bring increase that gap ♂️
I have the v5 official - I never bought fake. I got both the 50mm and 45mm rings at the same time so could use the best fit - felt the best way due to postage and tax. The 45 is too tight. I can wear it for a while, but after a day it gets painful and is the only time been asked to be let out in the HTv5. I wear the 50mm ring, no issue. Next is to get a smaller tube to the nano or nub, probably a nano or one of each - end goal is to have a couple tubes the same size and keep one clean standby, the other in use .
Then definitely is the gap of the cage or a combination of the tighter cage with the old ring, starting from the fact you wear the fake v4 comfortably. If the ring size was too small, you would have discomfort with the v4. One thing to try is getting the 50mm ring but I don't know how feasible is that in your country. Sorry I couldn't help you more, maybe there are other holytrainer users here that can give you better advice.
I'm not familiar with the material that Holy Trainer uses. Would it be possible to trim a bit of material off the end of the cage to increase the gap? The cut end would need to be sanded and polished smooth.
I have tried a lot of cages and I find ring sizing on the HT type devices tricky I think its because they hold you slightly differently to most other devices and the cage sort of pushes in a bit. A few degrees difference on the angle between the official and the the fake will be having a big impact on the actual ball gap. Also you are comparing V4 vs V5 they are different. I guess if you want to stay with the official one your only option is to go to a bigger ring however that may well be too big or you could buy a fake V5 with all the rings and see how that compare's
I don't buy fakes/knockoffs because being counterfeit items, you risk incorrect parameters or even self injury and then chances are you're screwed if you try to do anything about it. Just buy the real deal. I know it costs more, but dealing with the "real guys", you have a better chance of finding something that work for you and the manufacture can help you out if you have trouble. I know this because I've worked in retail for about 24 years and I even did internet marketing for 2 or 3 years along side it. I also ran an Ebay store from home last decade. That taught me ALOT.
