Well it turns out they were out of stock. Going to try ordering one from Amazon. Anyone have a specific model the recommend?
Ohh those do hurt. I have tried several times. All i get besides pain is a good rash. ouch. Best of luck to you. Maybe your keyholder just wants to see you wince.
Er excuse me ladies Being smooth in the skin department requires some degree of fortitude . Do not wimp and whine like some stupid little boy would !! OKAY? ? Now yes it a naughty little machine and I would go for a proper one say Braun or Philips but definitely mains. Just do a bit at a time say on your legs or chest . Depending on how much of a hairy bear you are trimming down to 6 mm if it has the trimming attachments. When you get a patch smooth ish work out wards holding the skin tight . Keep the machine clean by taking the cap off and use the little brush. You probably , certainly in the beginning need to go back over every week to catch as much hair as it grows through its growing cycles. Yes you get bumps just exfoliat at least once a week. Xx Wendy
Picked it out today and have it a quick test run, I'm kind of in love with it and can't wait till the kids are in bed for a longer trial.
Ok I'll try it again. Wendy would it be better to try after a hot shower and your skin is moist and soft? I'll give it a try again and see. thanks.
I've given it a few quick attempts, it is painful at first, but subsides pretty quickly and you get used to it and it even starts to feel strangely enjoyable. I assume after I get through the first couple passes and I'm pulling hairs that have been pulled before it will be much easier. Only problem is now I'm wanting to go home and do more.
Ok, so I've been trying the epilator a little at a time, and while it feels like it's ripping the hair out of me, I still notice a lot of tiny short hairs in the treated areas, especially on the course pubic hairs. Does it take many many passes to get to bald?
stay away from the No-no... it's a heated wire that burns the hair off, adn I've heard it doesn't do the skin much good either!
Wifey tried hers on me, "Yikes the pain was excruciating" I stick to razor now. oops! Epilady I mean, not No No.
Now that I have the feel for it it 's working really well. Did my pits yesterday, they are perfect, smooth and beautiful with no irritation, I know I'm going to like it for them much more than shaving. As for my pubic area, I had some much better results today and can say I have removed 95% of the hair from above my crotch. I'm getting a little more daring with the area around my penis and balls and will attempt those areas more in coming days. I think I was concerned that when it was very painful that I was doing something wrong and pinching my skin, but it turns out it was just the hair being ripped out, which is obviously what is intended. I assume now that it will be upkeep that it will be better. The skin is very red and somewhat raw, hopefully that clears up soon.
Lol you will know when it is a pinch especially on your boy bits as it's almost impossible to keep the skin tight enough. Yes it gets better as you work through the various stages of hair growth. Always exfoliat on a regular basis, not only makes your skin feel nice and soft and very clean but also helps with the ingrowing hair bumps. Xx Wendy
Wettie, sounds like the same process I went thru except I only did the crotch area... Gets easier each time!
So tell me about exfoliating? I've gotten most of the hair off, what is a good exfoliating routine to keep it smooth and free of ingrown hair?
So it's been almost two weeks and I have to say I'm in love with my epilator. It was painful at first, but now the upkeep is quick and easy and almost painless. Still have a few bumps from ingrown hairs, but those are going away gradually. Anyway, two thumbs up.
