to lube or not to lube ? - that is the question...

    says it all really :)

but to add the reason for the question.

I have a JailBird, spells in it range from a few days to a couple of weeks, let out once a day for hygiene purposes, or perhaps overnight, always locked in it if My Lady and I are apart overnight. I get occasional "burning" sensations on the lower base ring area, usually cured a by a bit of re-arrangement of the scrotal skin.

I am very nervous about using any lube, having had the excruciating experience of one testicle slipping through the gap when I had generously applied some E45 cream. For this reason I am also cautious about increasing the gap.

    So, what say you ?

it is painful isnt it? when that happens. lol as for the lube its all down to what works best for you as an individual, the fact you remove the device frequently is probably helping you to not need any and as you say by moving the skin around slightly this makes the bloodflow easier through the skins vessels and stops the burning and numbness that happens. Best advice is if you dont need any leave it off if you do lube frequently as needed

I use a little AD ointment. It stops the burn.

I put a silicone based lube around the ring of my CB6Ks as well as the first part of the tube. It lasts for a long time. Occasionally I will put a soothing body lotion on my scrotum. I have not even had any red spots. The worse that has happened to me is that the top of my penis, where the heavy metal lock is, got sore. I now use a plastic lock and problem solved. So much nicer to wear my CB without the heavy lock. Feels like hardly anything is on me. :)
