What Would Fantasies of Female Dominance Look Like Without Sexism?

I found the article quite difficult to read through, perhaps it's a few typos here and there or just the authors' writing style.

I did find this part quite clear:

If she's trying to make the point that not every male subby who is under a woman agrees with the stereotypical view that such a guy is going to be turned on by being repeatedly kicked in the balls by some kind of sexually aggressive Amazonian uber-feminist then I am in wholehearted agreement.

Maybe risking to miss the topic, but I still think, that there are not many men out there fantasizing about being dominated by the female impersonation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame!
So: the biological" first attraction" of females to men is definetely based on beauty (which might "only" be in the eyes of the beholder, but nevertheless...) - that's our phylogenetic history, and I don't think that it's sexism to tell a Lady that she's beautiful (in leather or without!).

But who creates the male fantasy femdom that is portrayed?

I wonder how much of the stereotype stems from a 'the lady doth protest too much' attitude from the - I guess mostly male - porn producers; ie that they shy away so strongly from even considering they have a softer, submissive side themselves that they have to exaggerate the aggressive macho elements to compensate for their own confusion?

Maybe if more more submissive men produced porn, there would be less of the pvc outfits, riding crops and cuckolding.
But - there are submissive guys who are into that sort of thing, so who knows.

 

Interesting article and the writing style reminded me of some of the academic papers I read at Uni. I am going to have to read it again though, trying to read this with my Mother in law talking to my Wife about mortgages and other important stuff made it difficult to follow.

I am lucky in that my FLR is reality not fantasy, and is set up to function in the real world efficiently. Elle, my Wife, has always been in charge, it is just we have acknowledged the fact and given it a title. It has made Elle relax and feel more confident. It is a 60/40 arrangement where we is the majority shareholder. I can have an opinion or an idea and she might listen to me. She is very pleased when I have a good idea and wouldn't want to go to being totally in charge.

As for fiction influencing what we do, it does, but only so far as we use the mansion and tumblr as sources of ideas, but Elle chooses what we do. If both of us enjoy what happens then it gets a chance to happen again. The idea that she would have to wear a uniform would just make Elle laugh.

 

It is a very stereotyped life style, and very wrongly labelled, I respect all people male and female, but I am only submissive to my wife, Mistress S and we have been married 27 years next April !!!

 

You are four months ahead of Mistress Elle and I. 27 years in August. And likewise, I am submissive to her, not every Tom, Dick, Harry or Ethel that happens by.
