Hey everybody! I'm currently at a 10 Guage PA and I've had it for 3 months. Seems to be all healed up. I'm gonna stretch to an 8 this week.

Do you think 8 Guage is big enough to use with the jail bird?
I want to get back in it as soon as possible! It's been 3 months...

    Thanks for the help!

It will depend more on how your device fits. If you fill the Jailbird at all times, I'm sure you will be fine. Just don't rush it if there is any pain.

    Good luck!

8g is pretty tiny. Most recommendations I've seen are 4g or bigger.

I've got a 2g and think it's a bit small to hold back pressure. I will try for 0g.

    I'm a grower though.

Oh wow. I've seen recommendations for 4g as well but I feel like it will take way too long to get there. How long did it take you?

My PA is 0 gauge now but i wouldn't recommend anything smaller than 8 gauge (3.26 mm) especially if there is any weight/pressure on the jewellery otherwise migration could occur.

Hmm well I just ordered that locking pa ring and the part that goes through the piercing is 3mm. I could still change it to 4mm. I'd have to wait and stretch again, but it wouldn't be a full Guage stretch so no biggy. (Thinking out loud)
I think I will order the 4mm in stead. Because even though I fill the jail bird most of the time it still pulls back in the shower and stuff...
    Thanks for the help!

A few months. The smaller gauges are easier to expand as the jump is smaller.

No rush though, everyone's body is different. If you take it too fast you'll just tear it and that will just slow you down.
