Absolutely disgusting. It’s why I left the state last year. It’s bad. And getting worse. Those of you who think the decay is exaggerated are mistaken. Homeless, crime, taxation, lack of infrastructure, etc. it’s terrible.

Commiefornia power grid officials have a sobering warning this week, telling customers to brace for potential blackouts as the state's grid faces capacity constraints over the Labor Day weekend.

"The top three conservation actions are to set thermostats to 78 degrees or higher, avoid using large appliances and charging electric vehicles, and turn off unnecessary lights.

"Lowering electricity use during that time will ease strain on the system, and prevent more drastic measures, including rotating power outages," California Independent System Operator (CAISO) told customers.

Maybe they can burn some of Gruesome’s hair grease to generate additional power? Oh wait ... it’s probably toxic!

If I didn't know this was real, I'd think it was some sort of attempt at humor.
Knowing it's real, I'm not sure what to say, Normally I have something snarky, or wise ass to say when it comes to the stupidity regarding all of this. But that doesn't even seem appropriate.

I guess all I can say is WOW and I'm not surprised. If these are the "leaders" we have who are going to "keep us safe", and help us be "healthy" we are in some serious trouble.

Well, I wouldn't choose a personal trainer who was out of shape. It's hard to want to take health advice from people who generally don't look very healthy themselves. You would think that if you were an expert on health, your outward appearance would reflect that.

 

I can’t speak for Lucy. But for me it’s a compelling argument. I would not choose a felon as my babysitter. Even a “cherry picked” one.

And I reject the notion of dismissing arguments because of the “Cherry picking” claim. This is clearly a new tactic of the Left.

Are YOU arguing that Lucy should have put the photos of every government health official of every nation? Are you dismissing her argument because she instead chose some well known examples of the pig heads in government?

I agree that an out-of-shape coach is not likely to be respected. That said, even if buff trainers gave you the same advice as the fat one, would you reject it?

Cherry-picking is an informal fallacy of logic that has been known and written about for millennia. It's a variant of mistaking the part for the whole and it is widely accepted as invalidating an argument. In this case it is also an ad-hominem, another classic informal fallacy of logic.
You have admitted that most government health officials don't look to be that unhealthy. Okay. Maybe those ones are not healthy. Dismiss their words. Listen instead to the thousands of healthy health experts whose photos you did not want to post.

The argument here is akin to having your house on fire, a hundred firemen telling you your house is on fire and wanting to put it out, and you refusing to let them because three of them aren't wearing their turnouts.

Goldman, Morgan Stanley, Lead Wall Street Push For Employees To Return To Office After Labor Day

Most major Wall Street firms are officially "over" Covid and are setting Labor Day 2022 as the deadline for workers returning to the office.

Morgan Stanley has been leading the push this week, with Fox Business' Charlie Gasparino reported on Tuesday that the company is ending all Covid testing and other monitoring/mitigation requirements by September 5.

According to FOX NEWS, a company-wide memo recommended that "all employees return to the office, barring certain individual health situations.”

It was also reported this week by the NY Post that Goldman Sachs was taking similar measures.

Goldman Sachs "told workers it will no longer require vaccines, COVID testing or masks," the Post wrote.

All hands on deck will be needed to handle the impending market meltdown. All that COVID Nazi stuff? Just kidding....be in the office by Tuesday, drones.

You omit the giant chasm between a randomized sample representing the desired statistical significance, the entire population, and cherry picking.

You dismissed the point as irrelevant by implying the sample size was too small.

YOU failed to even suggest any alternatives other than to reject the hypothesis. No data at all—much less cherry picked data.

Find us five examples of smoking hot, healthy senior level health policy makers from the usa, Canada and UK and I’ll give you some credit.

I’m sure most of us will enjoy that. If ONLY those forcing injections were as careful about “cherry picking data” as you.....
