Is Locktober a stretch too far?

I would try a whole day now before Oct 1. Also just because you are locked for the month doesnt mean you cant...and you should ...do hygiene/cleaning days. Take the cage off, clean and shave if you like then relock. It helps alot too.

Yes I had done a few hrs at a time but told my partner about locktober and did the month but had unlocks and cleans but not one 100% enforced

How long you can go depends on the fit of the device. I agree you should try a couple of days first. I tend not to lock very long-term but have been in Mature Metal JailBirds and BadAss Workroom devices for three plus weeks. I just relocked after a couple of months off so I think I'll do Locktober too. I use baby oil gel or Squirrel's Nut Butter (an anti-chafing salve that runners use) to promote comfort, but different folks use different things, or nothing at all. My devices are all open metal designs so I don't need to take it off for cleaning but if you have a closed-style device you will definitely need to do that.

 

I was considering it but it feels hollow without a partner to share it with.

I think it is fine for people who want to attempt a whole month.

 

Last year we did our first Locktober.

For our first go she did unlock me for cleaning, shaving and a bit of breathing time, but kept me locked most of the time.

However, I was not allowed to cum during Locktober.

 

As your other half is willing I think you should do this. A month is no issue for me though I realise we may be at different stages in our journey. You owe it to yourself to see what it would do for you emotionally. It's one month out of your life, would you really feel cheated out of those missed orgasms if you get to the end and decide it's not for you? It's always better to dwell on what you can do rather than what you can't do. You should have a plan with your SO. More massages or learn reflexology together. There is really a whole world of things available when little-you is off the menu.

 

After you have found a comfortable fitting cage that you can wear for 24 hours, the only thing left to overcome is what is going on in your mind.

No joke, going a month is no piece of cake when starting out. Yet, if your partner is up for a bit of fun, it could be the best thing for your relationship.

30 days is absolutely do-able; as many have said regular inspection and hygiene is a must.

 

This sounds like a great start. Release for comfort issues should only be when it becomes an issue. Believe it or not the same cage that was causing issues can be worn comfortably when you body has adapted. Committing to Locktober may be the difference between trying out what it's like to be a chastity slave and your kh knowing she actually owns one. You should persevere and try not to think about yourself too much to allow her to relax into her position. Try to enjoy it as the experience may never be so vivid again as it is in the beginning.

 

There is that point when you realize, what you wanted so badly, is now in her control. And she likes it.
