Hi guys! Just recently got the Cherry keeper Short and a 47mm ring with it, however I have noticed after 2 days of wearing it, part of my foreskin has gotten quite swollen up. It is not painful just a bit puffy, mind you, it is rolled back. Is there any cause for concern, or any way to stop/ get rid of it or will it go on its own? Thanks!!!!
its prob cos it all rolled up and cant go nowhere. i have not got none but if i was you i wud tell and praps then you cud have a bit bigger cage so it dont get all roll up.
It’s called Edema, it’ll happen if your cage is not allowing that fluid to circulate out because it might be tight. Sometimes you can take the cage off do a day, let the swelling go down and try it again. Sometimes your body needs to acclimate to the new device as well. If it doesn’t go away you might need a bigger base ring.
Most cages can cause some swelling I think mainly from pinching. My foreskin is always forward, that's it's natural place. I have had minor swelling if it gets pinched. On one occasion Mrs Chaste was rather to energetic when playing and managed to pinch the tip in the bars of my cage. Had to take it of for a couple of days afterwards!
When you put it on make sure there's plenty of thick lubricant or something like Nivea cream so that everything can slide around until they're in their 'natural' position inside the device which will reduce any tendency to rub. And when you clean it, however you're able while it's on, try to add some lubricant using a syringe if it's a devices with just ventilation or pee holes.
I have had this, it normal goes away within an hour or so of device removal, if you keep your firkin forward in a more natural position you may find that it stops it happening it did with me, I am wearing a cherry keeper I also adjusted the headlock with sandpaper which helped.
I found I had the same with every plastic , silicone or resin cage that I've tried, I streamed clear of open metal cages for years as I was worried that the skin poking through the bars would make them unwearable. I don't regret making the change to a more open metal cage. The good news it that eBay is full of cheap devices , so you can try lots of cages until you find the right one , when I started , the only readily available off the shelf cages were the cbx range . Think I paid about £120 for a cb3000. Now you can get a wearable metal cage for £15. If you try enough of them , you will find one that works for you .
I used to get edema of the foreskin (swelling with a clear fluid) after about 2 weeks wearing various cages. Size of the base ring or length of the tube turned out not to be a factor in my case. What I realised was that many if not most cages I've see have a tube diameter of 33mm, and that's what was causing the problem - my girth is too much for most 'standard' cages. I found an open metal cage design with a 35mm tube and have no more problems.
I have tried several cages before I found out that (one of the) four things causing edema may have been my problem: - the girth of the cage portion being too narrow - Minor edges and bad detailing on the inside - plastic or resin material - too much enclosed tube, resulting of higher humidity inside and less thorough cleaning options. I wear a bar-style, “open”, steel, good quality cage now that is a bit on the “wider” side. Never had any issues and I’m pretty much 24/7 for the past 10 months
It's called Oedema (or Edema). I used to get it really badly when in chastity devices. The best, and most extreme, cure is a tight circumcision. I have that now and the problem has completely gone away. Chastity devices are much more comfortable without a foreskin to get trapped and pinched, or swell up. I am really happy with my circumcision and would definitely recommend 100%, but it's a very drastic solution to the problem.
I have the wide fitting Cherry Keeper cage and this allows much more room for all my foreskin than the standard 35mm cages do. Might be worth looking at.
