I have a BAW cage with the cylinder lock. It’s a different size from the kind that fits in most other cages (k3d, etc.). The lock is starting to stick. Does anyone know if there’s an easier way to get a replacement lock in the US without ordering from BAW?

I have found some 7MM barrel locks and modified them (read cut and filed) to fit the BAW device.

You could just try giving the lock a squirt with WD40, that usually solves that sort of problem.

I would try using some gun oil. Just a few drops will penetrate inside the mechanism.

WD40 is not specifically a lubricant and is hated by locksmiths for gumming up mechanisms. WD40 is good for freeing up something stuck but after that the part should be cleaned and a proper lubricant used.
