I am almost always locked in my metal chastity cage. But soon we will be flying on a family vacation. How do I go through airport security while in chastity. Clearly I can't wear a metal cage. But even if I switch to a plastic cage with a tag, won't that trip the body scanner? And if I pack it in my checked baggage won't it also get my bag searched?
Has anyone else had airport issues?
I just don't want anything embarrassing to happen since my children are going to be with us.
If it were just me and my wife, I would enjoy being embarrassed publicly and getting pulled aside and having to strip down and show security my tiny little locked penis. But I can't take that risk with our children there.
Any suggestions?

I understand your concerns, but don't believe you will have any issues if you are planning to use a nonmetal device. If you are still worried about the tag, why not just leave it off until you arrive at your final destination? You didn't mention if you will be using a pad lock or integrated lock. This could be something you may also want to consider too.

From our own experience, I shared your issue and purchased a 3d printed Cherry Keeper with integrated brass lock for air travel. We never had a problem with security on either domestic or international flights when passing through metal detecting equipment. There was one time we had to pass through a body scanning machine. I have no idea what the TSA officer saw during PK's (husband) scan, but nothing became of it. I don't think there isn't much that security people haven't already seen...lol. Even now, since I have had PK pierced with a PA, I run the ring through the Cherry Keeper bars and have not had any issues.

I'm sure others will weigh in here with their own stories of airport security checks. You'll just have to go with what you are comfortable with. Safe travels and good luck.

What part of the world do you live in? Here in the US, chastity is perfectly legal and airport security doesn’t care.

My wife has switched my steel cage out for our backup plastic cage with plastic security tag for security check. Usually, I stayed in that cage till we got to where we were going.

The other thing she has done was to remove my cage before we would leave for the airport and put it in my carry on bag. Once clearing TSA she would instruct me to go into the restroom and get it on.

Like others have said, There's nothing they have not seen.

One time wearing no cage, I was checked by security for what they thought was something in the front of my shorts. The TSA agent stopped me and had me lift my arms up while he took my waist band and rolled it down to check. Nothing was there except my little red ribbon from my panties! My wife got a real kick out that! My face was as red as those panties! He never blinked.

You'll be fine. To be safe, remove your cage, put it in your carry on and put it back on when you clear TSA

Heck, my carry on has my wife's "toys" Her leather strap, canes, ball gag, nipple clamps etc. Discipline takes no vacation in this house.

I once set off a metal detector at an event at my son's college parent's weekend, with my son and wife right there. My wife was quite amused and my son was baffled.

I went through a metal detector at a football game this past weekend. The tolerance level must have been set to low because they instructed us to hold our cell phones to our chest when we walked through. I have a polycarbonate cage with a metal padlock. There was no problem when I passed through although I did hear the detectors go off when other people went thru.

I don't think it's a given that a stainless steel cage (which is non-magnetic) will trip a metal detector, and besides most folks go through the body scanners now, which will see your cage (regardless of whether it's plastic or metal) but the person monitoring won't care. You won't be the first person wearing a cage through the scanners and they know the difference between a cage and a weapon.

Worst case scenario, you can taken into a private room where they confirm it's just a cage, which should feed into most guys humiliation fetish, lol.

I would not wear a chastity device through the airport TSA checkpoint. The airport scanners can detect anything that it is not part of the human anatomy. It doesn't matter if it's plastic or metal.

So I'm at the airport now. I forgot to take my device off before getting in line for security. I realized my error as I was putting it's on the belt for the x ray scanner.

We use a combination lock box when I travel. My wife set the combination and I have a piece of paper that keeps it from closing. I go through security put on my cage and lock the key in the box.

So I am tsa precheck and was already committed when I realized my error. They have a metal detector so I know I am going to set it off. I am wearing a stainless steel device. Sure enough the detector goes off. The agent asks me if I have a belt I say no but forgot that I have a piercing. I don't have a piercing but a cage is close enough. He says if I can't take it off I'll have to be escorted. A few minutes of waiting and I am escorted to a body scanner. I walk through it and to my surprise nothing happens. I glance at the screen it says ok in green. Confirming with my escort I was good to go I went and collected my bags.

I was mildly embarrassed , but that is because I thought I was going to have to show off my cage and the panties I am currently wearing as a result. Fortunately, that was not required. The entire delay was only about seven minutes.

This is one experience at one airport so I wouldn't recommend anyone trying to repeat it. Though I am tempted to as I travel often and am now very curious to see if it is repeatable.

Place is about to take off so wish me a safe flight. :)

I once flew from a small regional airport with a CB-6000 cage in my carryon luggage. I didn't think much of it until I looked over at the screener and I see this poor grandma holding up the tube, scrutinizing it, and then blushing more than I'd ever seen as she quickly stuffed it back into the pouch and slid my bag down the table. Yeah lady, it was embarrassing for me, too.

I'm flying UK domestically next weekend and pondering options. In some ways I'm wondering if its easier to wear a plastic cage and tag than have it in the hand luggage (not checking in a bag). Hmmm

Not an airport story, but earlier today I went to a downtown hospital with my two kids, both in their 20s, to visit a relative (my Wife was not with us). There was a metal detector ahead and I just said to myself "stay cool and just say you are wearing body jewelry if it goes off"

Of course it did go off. I was carrying a backpack and the guard immediately asked to see it. After he found no weapons he was satisfied and let me continue

That was a close one!

A few years ago I set off a metal detector at my son's college parents weekend event in front of my son. That time I told the guard I was wearing jewelry. My son didn't hear that and was puzzled about what was going on. My Wife was there and was quite amused

Last post - a few years ago I set off the dedector at the airport in the Bahamas. This time only my Wife was with me. The security people did not care - all they care about are weapons

What I'm taking from this is, if you don't have TSA pre-check, you're probably going through the body scanners, where they'll see your cage but they won't care, so no need to take it off. However, if you do have pre-check, you'll probably go through only a metal detector, in which case you will set it off and will have to then go through the body scanner. So, if you want to avoid that inconvenience, take it off before you go through security. But if you don't mind the inconvenience, keep it on.

I've always had my cage and key in my carry on bag, never had it searched before. I don't think you should worry about that.
I've had my bags searched but never because of the cage and key. Typically it is a food item I have with me. MMs gummy bears set it off. Snickers sometimes do. The times they have seen the cage and key it didn't seem to register with them.

I revel with all sorts of engraving stuff in my carry on. You just have to accept that it can be searched and move on with life.

Ok a typical trip I'll have
Chastity device.
Lockbox with key.
Multiple abdl diapers.
Abdl onesies.
Abdl pacifier.
Abdl bottle.
Butt plug.
Prostate vibrator.

None of those things had ever gotten me searched... Just avoid food in your bag lol. I always ask when I get flagged and it is usually food.

All about type of machine and sensitivity. My last trip was through Germany. I didn't wear anything questionable through security, but the body scanner did detect an unusual level of density in my testicles (video was pretty accurate, and showed them as yellow; I was 3+ weeks since last orgasm) quick pat down of my immediate waist area and it was done.
Certain that machine would have shown anything worn on the body, including small piercings or jewelry

Airline pilot here..

TSA and security don’t care about cages one bit. At the very worst you’ll be pulled into a private room where they’ll verify you’re wearing a cage not a weapon ect. It’s highly unlikely they’d even ask about the kids going into the room with you.
If possible you could use numbered plastic lock and have your keyholder replace that with a real lock inside a family bathroom upon passing security.

They will not search your bag just because a padlock was seen during the luggage scan. They don’t cage about locks, rope, handcuffs, or tolls under 7 inches. There’s a surprising number of things they allow as listed on the TSA website.

I do TSA pre-check, and when I get to the detecting stand I just request the scanner instead. That usually works, although one time they insisted I stay on path and get detected. They ran me through a couple of times and I just quietly told the guy I had 'jewelry' on and nodded down with my head. He let me go without even a patdown. I was caged and had my titanium eternity anklet on.

What really freaks me out is every now and again I have to swing by the courthouse for my job and they metal detect there. And those good old boys just wouldn't understand.

As an aside, it really fucking sucks that lifestyle chastity wearers have to work around a couples dynamic for what is security theater. There is no reason a Keyholder should have to deal with changing devices or unlocking a submissive just for a security checkpoint. /rant over

Not to pile on here but I’m sitting in the sky club at the Orlando airport now. Went through security less than 5 minutes ago. I’ve flown through ATL, EWR and now Orlando this week alone. I just made small talk with the TSA agent looking at the baggage scan screen while waiting for my bag. I asked “why doesn’t the metal detector go off for my watch?” He laughed and said “maybe it’s a fake!” While that doesn’t really make sense as it’s a stainless steel watch, it brings to light the fact that the detectors here don’t pick up stainless (my watch) or titanium (my cage).

Over the 6 months I’ve been in this Ti cage, I’ve flown multiple times each week going through metal detectors and body scanners. Not once have I set off any alerts or been stopped or questioned. It’s still a bit exhilarating waiting in line but as I always say - chastity isn’t illegal. And like our pilot friend said, TSA doesn’t care.

They don’t care at all. Nothing surprises them anymore. I’ve had to show my cage before and they knew what it was before I even got pants halfway off and they said “you’re good we see those all the time.”
The detectors work off total reflectivity. Just a watch or just a belt may not be enough to set it off. But if you have a cage on, and a watch, and a belt well that might be enough metal collectively to set off metal rector. Body scanners are different they look for density changes.
You should t change a thing. Just wear your normal cage and if needed tell them what it is.
