Base ring size - one finger

I have the MM sizing ring kit. I think I have the right sized ring (it’s a little smaller than the base on the cheap device I have). With minimal effort I can get my index finger in there. I can get two fingers in if I really press into my shaft…I could probably even get three in.

How much pushing is too much?
