Hi all,

But how does it work in real life? Is there anyone around here that is actually doing this or some variation of it?
I find it interesting because it introduces a predictable
routine of locking and unlocking (I know, predictable, how fun ). Because as we know, IRL is more complicated and with work and kids, sometimes (most times), things slip away.

So, please, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this.

She's got the right idea, i.e. taking control, and making the decisions that work for her.
 
There was never an explicit rule, but my girlfriend had a low sex drive, and wanted it once a month, just before her period. She also was insecure about me masturbating, and being a BDSM/Femdom relationship, I stopped. If our schedules didn't intersect during those couple of days, we skipped that month. Interesting technique.
 
I do feel there is a connection to a woman's ovulation moment and a man's ejaculation drive. My unscientific guess is that this connection has been distorted beyond recognition due to modern sexual practices. But in some primal past, I am guessing the connection was much stronger.

Therefore, I think a loving couple could leverage this connection somehow. For example, a husband is only allowed to ejaculate on her ovulation day. Once every 28 days or so.

She could easily make a game of it. He's allowed to ask for the key just ONCE per month. But he has to ascertain when his wife is ovulating or she says no. This will teach him to really get in tune with her cycle and moods. If he guesses within a certain time period of her ovulation, he's allowed out.

I once knew a woman who could predict her ovulation within an hour. It wasn't always at the precisely same interval of 28 days, but she'd tell you she'd be ovulating and hour later it'd happen.

She'd have been a natural keyholder......too bad chastity wasn't a "thing" back then.

Yeah, the "just before the period" sex is INSANE.

Update on this one, because for a couple of months now we’ve been doing the period lock-up. No frills, she just lets me know when her period started and I have to lock up and give her the key. Then, after 7-9 days, she unlocks me, we have a good round of PIV and then that’s it, free until her next one.
Some conclusions:
- For some reason 😆 she became so much eager to tell me to lock up when her period hits
- She’s also soo much eager to get me inside her, after 1-2 days of eating her out while still locked. And I soo feel this from her on a physiological level even
- This works out well because we can’t realy commit to 24/7 lock-ups anymore, but this solves a lot of our shortcomings on our sexual activity, that we would otherwise end up neglecting
