For my origin story, I stumbled into chastity in 2011 or 2012 somewhere, had the talk with my then girlfriend in ~2015, and bought my first cage shortly thereafter. I take it off for cleaning whenever I shower, for contact sports, when I'm going out at night (ie, to a bar or on a date), and when I feel like I've earned an orgasm.
I've now met someone that I've been seeing regularly (but only for like a month, so still very fresh), and we had a kink conversation about what we like and want. I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. "Sounds fun" could just be a way to change the conversation, but she genuinely seemed interested and it's the first time I've had a positive (or at the very least non-negative) response when bringing it up with someone (this is only attempt number 2 though haha).
